Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

In the previous article, the host recommended “Yoshida Udon” when you will visit Japan’s highest/best mountain, Mt. Fuji.

I would like to leave some additional information.

The image posted in the previous article was Niku Kinpira Udon (meet and Gobou root Udon).

This time I was convinced that what I should recommend is simply “Kake Udon.”

Because you can enjoy its unique noodles and soup…

Plus, there are plenty of free toppings, so even if you order just Kake Udon, it will be changed to “Deluxe Tanuki Udon” by the time you get to your seat. (Specially I want you to try free local spice “Suridane” there.)

I would like people in Fukuoka who eat ultra-soft Udon every day to experience Yoshida Udon with the choice of “Kake.”

So, you want to know which Udon restaurant I do recommend?

I’ve visited many different Udon restaurants for years, but…

the host highly recommend this restaurant, which seems to be the easiest to visit but surprisingly not so many people recommend.

While most Udon restaurants in that town close around 3pm, this restaurant is one of the few that stays open until the evening.

As you can see, the host thoroughly enjoyed “Yoshida Udon” of this restaurant on both his way to and from Tokyo.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

先の記事で日本一の山、富士山観光の際にとオススメした吉田うどん。

追加情報を補足しておきます。

先の記事に掲載した画像は肉きんぴらうどんでしたが、、、

オススメすべきはシンプルに「かけうどん」だと今回確信しました。

なぜなら、特徴ある麺とつゆを堪能できるから、、、

それに無料のトッピングが充実しているので、かけうどんを注文しても、席に着いた時には「デラックスたぬきうどん」に変わっています。（薬味の「すりだね」はぜひトライしてもらいたいですね。）

超やわうどんを日々食している福岡の人にこそ、「かけ」で吉田うどんを体験・体感してほしいです。

で、おすすめのお店はどこかって？

これまで数年かけて色んなお店をまわってみましたが、、、

宿主は一番利用しやすそうで、意外と推す人が少なかったりするこちらのお店が一押しです。

町のほとんどのうどん屋が３時ぐらいで閉店する中、こちらのお店は夕方までやっている数少ないお店です。

と、ここまででお分かりのように、宿主は今回の東京への往路・復路両方でこちらの「吉田うどん」堪能させていただきました。

Recommended local food

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This time, I stopped by Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes area again on my way to and from Tokyo.

Whether you’re able to see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji or you can’t see it at all due to clouds, there is a local gourmet noodle you should try when you visit this area.

HOUTOU?

No, it isn’t HOUTOU.

As a person who previously lived in Yamanashi for five years, my experience is that HOUTOU is okey but not worth for the price.

What I would like to recommend to everyone is a local gourmet dish that I encountered when I went fishing after living in Yamanashi.

Apparently it has the firmest texture in Japanese Udon. It has such a chewy texture and a deep flavor at the same time.

I would also like tourists visiting Japan to try it too.

オススメご当地グルメ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今回も東京への行き帰りに立ち寄った富士山と富士五湖エリア。

きれいな富士山を見れた人も、雲で全く見れなかった人も、このエリアを訪問したら食べてもらいたいご当地グルメがあります。

ほうとう？

いえ、ほうとうではありません。

以前、山梨に５年も住んでいた人間の感覚では、ほうとうはそのお値段に負けています。

みなさんにオススメしたいのは自分が山梨在住後、釣りに行った時に時に出会ったご当地グルメです。

日本で一番コシがあるらしいです。そんな歯ごたえと同時に深い味わいがあります。

日本を訪れる観光客にも是非試してもらいたいですね。

Favorite taste which I don’t want to loose!

As recent weather has been so unusual that we were getting off track, So let us get back the story about Mt. Fuji eruption,

Of course we concern the damage by the natural disaster in case of the eruption.

But I also do worry about two different local foods whose have been my favorite for these years.

Mt. Fuji belongs to two prefectures and each prefecture has each taste of my favorite and I have always stop by at each restaurant on the way to/from Tokyo.

At first, the chewiest UDON noodle in Yamanashi, northern part of Mt. Fuji.

There are many restaurant there competing the taste of UDON. So I am trying to visit through all restaurants, because of the tastes and reasonable prices.
( There is also speciality dish in our town. But unfortunately, it is very doubtful if people want to visit all restaurants.)

Another one is family restaurant chain franchised only in Shizuoka, southern part of Mt. Fuji.

The popular dish of them are hamburg steaks on hot plates. Specially lunch time reasonable menus my favorite.
As many people like the taste and price, all restaurants always have line of people in front of the entrances.I also want to try all menus of them.

According to the TV program about the risk of Mt. Fuji eruption, both taste will have big damage, if it will happen.

I do hope that both will survive from the unbelievable natural disaster.

ハマってる味、なくしたくない味！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここのところの気候が異常すぎて話題がそれましたが、話を戻して富士山噴火について。

自然災害としての被災も困るんですが、噴火の可能性を聞いた時に最初に「困るなぁ」と直感したのは、

ここ何年かハマっている二つの味のことでした。

富士山が属す二つの県それぞれにお気に入りがあって、東京への往路復路と通っている食べ物があるんです。

最初に「日本一コシのあるうどん」。北側の山梨県の名物です。

富士山麓で何軒ものお店が味を競っていて、その味と値段の手頃さから全店闘覇目指しています。
（わが町にも名物の食べ物はありますが、全店巡りたいとは感じないのが残念です。）

もうひとつが、静岡県内限定でフランチャイズ展開しているファミレス。静岡以外では入手不可能です。

こちらの人気メニューが肉肉感溢れるハンバーグ！それもランチ狙いです。
こちらも値段と味から、どの店舗も入店待ち必須の人気店で、メニュー全走破目指したいですね。

先日放送された富士山爆発リスクが本当に起きるなら、このどちらの味も甚大な被害をこうむります。

なんとか回避してもらいたいと心から願うばかりです。
