After OBON (summer) holidays

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After OBON (Japanese summer religious) holidays, temperature around Kanmon straits is going down to about 30 degree C at the highest.

About 30 degree … It is still hot as a temperature number, but we feel a little cool now. It may because our bodies had been in about 34 degree for weeks and our temperature sensor may start misrecognizing.

Please take care not to cool your enthusiasm down, as the temperature goes down. Keep your enthusiastic soul in your body!

お盆過ぎたら、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

お盆の週を過ぎたら、関門エリアでは気温が少し下がり、最高気温は３０度前後になりました。

３０度前後、、、気温としてはまだまだ高いのですが、ずっと３４度程の暑さに晒されていた体は温感がズレてしまっていて、３０度前後でもなんかずいぶん涼しくなったように感じてしまいます。

気温と一緒に気持ちの熱も冷めてしまい、ぬけ殻状態にならぬようご用心！

29.5度！/ 29.5 degree C!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After holidays, it was very hot Tuesday around Kanmon area.

After cleaning this guesthouse, I sweated a lot. So as soon as I finished cleaning, I drove my car and jumped into swimming pool.

But water temperature is summer already.

There is few swimmers there and I could enjoy swimming as if in my private pool.

According to the lifeguard, there was 497 swimmers on the previous day, Marine Day holiday, Monday. It was unbelievable number for that swimming pool recently. Honestly speaking, I was disappointed because I couldn’t come to the pool because to busy taking care for our guests on Monday. But he said you were lucky not coming here.

This is the city of Kitakyushu. We must enjoy reducing population!

２９.５度！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

連休明け、関門エリアはとっても暑い火曜日でした。

館内を掃除するだけで、汗が吹き出します。掃除が終わるやいなや車に飛び乗り、そのままドボン！

けれど水温はもう夏です。

プールはガラガラ、まるで貸し切りのように気持ちよく泳ぐことが出来ました。

聞けば、前日月曜日の「海の日」には、なんと利用者が497人！大賑わいだったそうです。今の門司港では信じられない人数です。正直言うと、忙しくてプールにも行けずにガッカリしていたのですが、来なくて良かったよと言われました。

やっぱり北九州、人口減少の恩恵を楽しまないとね！

Summer in the city of Kitakyushu is very hot.

Yes, Hot festivals.

One of them were approved as a World Heritage!

TOBATA GION OOYAMAGASA
( Next weekend, Jun 27-28 )

It is good access from TOUKA to the festival site.

How about watching gorgeous and brave festival as a last sightseeing of the day?

We want old school mates, who have never seen this festival, to come to see it.

それも世界遺産なお祭りです。

「戸畑祇園大山笠」（来週末7/27-28 開催予定）

「灯火」からのお祭り会場へのアクセスも良いです。
