This resort has several recommended features,

but one of the most strongly recommended feature is probably…

their swimming pool.

What’s great about the pool at the facility is that it’s not only reserved for hotel guests, but it’s also divided into family use and adult use.

The early morning pool is especially stylish, allowing only adults to enjoy the sunrise by the pool.

As I hadn’t seen the first sunrise of the year on New Year’s Day, so I could enjoy “My Own Special First Sunrise of 2026” in this wonderful setting.

(I’m feeling sorry, but I’ve included myself in the photo for you to know whether it’s the ocean or the pool.)

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

朝は朝でもいろんな朝がありますが、超特別な朝なんていかがでしょう？

こちらのリゾートにはいくつか推しのコンテンツがあって、

最も強力に推しているであろうもののひとつが、きっと、、、

プール。

こちらの施設のプールのいいところは、宿泊客専用というのはもちろん、家族ゾーンと大人ゾーンとに区別されていること。

特に早朝のプールは大人限定で朝焼けをプールで楽しめるという粋な設定、、、

今年は元旦の初日の出を見ていなかったので、「自分にとっての初日の出」を素敵なシチュエーションで満喫することが出来ました。

（海なのかプールなのか分かるよう、不本意ながら自らが映り込んでいますが、悪しからず）

At the popular spot – I decided to stay there overnight

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

About this brand-new facility just opened and highly anticipated by local governments and local people.

I had been interested in this group for a while because my daughter taught me that they are very friendly to families with children and her family are repeat customers of this group.

It just so happened that the special high prices offered over the New Year’s holiday season had ended, so I decided to take the opportunity to stay there.

Another reason of my decision is that this is not a revitalization project for the brand resort as usual, but the first facility to be “built from scratch.”

The slogan for all rooms is that they offer a strait view, so I was very excited when I opened the door to the guest room,

with wondering how different from the excitement felt by guests at our guesthouse, TOUKA…

人気のスポット 〜 せっかくなので泊まってみた！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

地元自治体やロコな人々に期待されてる、オープンしたばかりの真新しい施設。

子供連れにとても親切だからと、自身の娘家族もリピート利用しているグループなので、以前から気にはなっていました。

ちょうど年末年始の特別な高価格設定も終わっているタイミングだったし、せっかくなので宿泊してみることにしました。

当該リゾートブランドが得意とする再生案件ではなく、「ゼロからつくり上げた」初めての施設だ、ということもあって、、、

さらに全客室が海峡ビューという謳い文句もあって、客室のドアを開ける時はとてもワクワクしました。

The brand-new facility built at the waterfront on the opposite bank of the strait.

It seems to be attracting an extraordinary amount of attention.

The city newsletter reveals that the facility receives special treatment from the local government.

It is unusual in this country for a public institution such as a local government to feature a profit-making corporation on the front page of its new year first publication.

(Even though it is not a recipient of the tax income because the city does not set an accommodation tax.)

Perhaps reflecting these expectations, the lobby and its cafe space seemed to be filled with locals who did not appear to be accommodation guests.

対岸の海峡ウォーターフロントの出来立てほやほやの施設。

どうも尋常ではない注目を浴びているようです。

ご当地の自治体からも特別な扱いを受けていることを、その「市報」からうかがい知ることができます。

通常、自治体のような公の機関が発行する機関誌の年初第一面に利益法人を取り上げることはこの国では異例のことです。

（宿泊税を導入していない当該市にとっては、宿泊税収入の受け皿にもなり得ないのに、、、）

そんな期待を反映してか、ロビーやそのカフェスペースには宿泊客ではなさそうなローカルな方々が多く集っているようでした。
