Finally, the Japan Meteorological Agency has declared the rainy season in northern Kyushu.

Japanese rainy season is called as TSUYU, yes it is sounds like “TO YOU”.
It seems that the rainy season will start 13 days later than normal and 19 days later than last year.
The hydrangeas at our guesthouse are a bit sunburned, but this will help moisturize them a little.
By the way, the late TSUYU seems to cause flooding in many years.

月曜日のお昼に、、、
とうとう、九州北部の梅雨入りが宣言されました。そう「つゆ、TO YOU」。

平年よりも１３日遅く、昨年よりも１９日遅いそうです。
当宿のあじさいは日焼け気味ですが、これで少しは潤いそうです。
遅い梅雨は、水害になる年が多いようです。
