For the first time in a while

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday, it seems that there was heavy rain in the south of Tokyo area, but

we had temp over 30 degree C. Meteorological Agency said around 30 degree but the temperature reached 33 degrees C actually in the sun.

Temperature went up to this level before noon, however the weather went down suddenly in the evening and we had scattered shower. Steam went up from the surface of the roads and then the air got cooler. It was good for evening cool at the seaside.

Starting in this weekend, weather forecast says it will rain heavily in whole next week, the end of the rainy season. So we hope that severe water hazard will not happen in anywhere in Japan.

久しぶりに

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜日、関東南部では大雨だったようですが、、、

ここ関門では数日間続く３０度超え。気象庁は３０度と言っていますが、実際ひなたでは３３度ぐらいでした。

お昼前にはこの気温だったのですが、夕方になると急に雲行きが怪しくなり、突然サーッと雨。久しぶりの雨に道路からは湯気が立ち上がり、その後急に涼しくなりました。海辺の夕涼みにもってこいです。

来週にかけて、梅雨終盤の大雨の予報が出ていますが、今年は国内どこも水害など起こらないと良いですね。

To the East

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday, rain started around noon and got harder in the afternoon. In the midnight, I felt like I was in the middle of a training.

We had calm weather since last week but we are going back to rainy season again.

Our hydrangeas at the entrance have had a little suntan but they may be able to survive with this rain. Instead of them, new hydrangeas, we planted in the shade next to the wall last year, are getting colored now.

This heavy rain seems to shift to the east. So we want people in the east to take care for water hazard.

東へ 東へ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

木曜日の関門エリアは午後から次第に雨が強くなり、深夜には線状降水帯に入ったみたいに激しく降り続きました。

しばらく穏やかな天気が続きていましたが、梅雨の再到来です。

少し日焼けした玄関脇の紫陽花も、この雨で延命出来たかも。代わりに昨年東側の崖下に植えた花が色づいてきました。

さて、この激しい雨も東に向かってシフトしています。東の方の方はどうぞ気をつけて。

Wind blows and rain falls! / 風が吹けば、、、雨も降る！

Wind blows and rain falls!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

May 12th Wednesday, it was the first day under the third State of Emergency and we have hard rain here in Kanmon area.

Not only rain but we also had strong wind here.

It was the first day of the State of Emergency but again we had the highest number of infection in this Kitakyushu city. Our prefecture also had the highest number. 635 newly infected people in Fukuoka is really Emergency.

In such severe storm, the Olympic fire came to this town and only lighting ceremony was held at the pier.

I wasn’t the only one who felt that this suggests what will happen in this summer and cannot get excited with some kind of worry in mind.

風が吹けば、、、雨も降る！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

５月１２日水曜、緊急事態宣言発効初日の関門エリアは雨、それもかなり激しい雨でした。

風も強くて、ちょっとした嵐のようでした。

宣言初日ながら、市内感染者数は過去最高、県でみても過去最高だったようです。この県で６３５人は大変な状態です。

そんな嵐の中、わが町には東京オリンピックの聖火がやってきて、風雨の中、点灯セレモニーのみ実施されたようです。

なにかこの夏を暗示しているようで不安を感じ、手放しで盛り上がれないのは自分だけではないように思います。

それでは、今こそ感染対策はしっかり、素敵な一日を！
