In the previous article, I mentioned the tornado that struck the parking lot of my favorite store…
Some may have wondered what on earth I was doing at my favorite store. (May not?)
What I’m going to buy there is this!
I go there to get some of Japan’s most popular culture from the 1970s and 1980s.
At that time, for example, in a neighbor country, democratic movements were emerging from under military rule, and it was a turbulent time, so it was not an atmosphere in which to enjoy popular culture.
I have also heard that there was an implicit ban on importing Japanese popular culture, as Japan was once an invading country.
Perhaps because of this, there are not a few young people who find Japanese city pop and pop songs from that era fresh and are captivated by them.
At this guesthouse, we always get very excited when we talk about such topics. Because it is a new world for our guests.
So we are basically looking for topics to talk about at the guesthouse.
Thanks to the fact that the store wasn’t blown away by the tornado, I was able to get some great items at super bargain prices again.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先の記事の中で、行きつけのお店の駐車場を襲った竜巻の話題を出しましたが、、、
行きつけの店って、いったい何をしに行っているのか、気にされた人もいるかもしれません。（いないかな？）
何をこちらに買いに行っているかといえば、実は、、これです！
1970年代から1980年代にかけての日本が誇る大衆文化を入手しに行っているのです。
その時代、例えばお隣の国では、軍事政権の支配下から民主運動が湧き起こるといった激動の時代だったので、大衆文化を満喫する雰囲気ではありませんでした。
また、かつて侵略国だった日本の大衆文化は暗黙の輸入禁止だったということも聞こえてきます。
そのせいか、その時代の日本のシティポップや歌謡曲を新鮮に感じ、魅力に取り憑かれている若者が少なくないようです。
当宿では、そうした話題になるといつもとても盛り上がるんです。だって彼らにとって未知の世界だから。
つまり、ゲストハウス・トークのネタ探しをしているということです。
お店が竜巻で吹き飛ばされなかったおかげで、今回も良いのを破格で入手することができました。
