On the local news this week,

an interesting piece of information was reported.

Apparently, a voice actor from this local area is playing a character in a certain famous Japanese anime that is also popular among foreigners!

They said that he graduated from an elementary school next to the host’s hometown.

According to the news, he was here until junior high school, so maybe he was host’s junior in junior high.

週明けのローカルニュース、、、

興味深い情報が報道されました。

外国人にも人気の日本のあのアニメに、なんとこの地元ゆかりの声優があるキャラクターを演じているとか！

それも宿主の地元の隣の小学校出身者だとか。

中学までこちらにいたという話なので、もしかして中学は後輩にあたるのかも。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Our hometown is an old port town. Nowadays there is less function as a trading port.

For about 30 years, this town has been re-developed as a tourist spot. And we keep watching unique use of this town and introduce it.

As the area called as RETRO is like “Cosplay of whole town”, I personally think that this is good/suitable/ideal use of this town.

Speaking of eccentric costume, this town is the most famous place in Japan for “Being Adult Day’s Ceremony costume”. Now is the time of “diversity” and we hope to see cosplayers and tourists from overseas have fun together in this old port town.

よく見る光景 (4) 〜 港を吹く風がよく似合う？

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

わが故郷、昔ながらの港町ですが、機能的には「貿易港」という要素は薄くなっています。

観光地としての町おこしを続けていますが、そんな町がとてもユニークな利用をされている場面によく出くわすのでご紹介します。

この町のレトロと呼ばれるエリアは町自体がコスプレみたいな場所なので、私個人としてはこうした港町の利用法は「アリ（地元としても）」だと思います。

奇抜な衣装といえば、成人式の知名度は日本一ですし。時代はダイバーシティ、海外からの観光客とコスプレイヤーがコラボして盛り上がる、、、そんな光景が見られるようになると面白いと感じています。

それでは、たまには日常を離れて、未知の自分自身と出会う素敵な一日を！
