The Place I went in my childhood
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
When I visit place where I went in in my childhood after I grown up, I could feel something strange.
Specially for the person like me, who came back to the hometown after living big city like Tokyo for many years, visiting such place can be more exciting than visiting somewhere new and I never seen before. (That feeling may be similar to that when I attend school alma meter party.)
This time, I visited to the northern most place.
Used to be local bus has run to the nearest village to the place. But there is no longer bus route existing.
Name of the village is “AO-HAMA (means Blue Shore)”. It sounds fantastic, doesn’t it?
The place further than “AO-HAMA” is “The HESAKI Lighthouse*”.
(*Please search it to know the reason/history of the lighthouse.)
It is the very important lighthouse, as the leader of lighthouses locates along Kanmon straits, like TOUKA’s lighthouse.
My memory about the HESAKI Lighthouse was that the lighthouse is locating very far from my house even locates in same ward. We needed to ride train, bus and we have to walk pretty long distance from the last bus stop. Because of that, I memorized that my packed lunch tasted very very delicious, when I ate it with my friends next to the lighthouse. I remembered the momory, when I saw the lighthouse this time.
It is sometimes good for me to make myself to connect to a reminder of past events in the deep part of my brain.

子供の頃に行った場所
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
いい大人になった今、子供の頃に行ったことのある場所を訪れるとなんとも言えない不思議な気持ちになります。
特に一度故郷を離れて、この町に戻ってきた者にとっては、何か新しいものを初めて見るより感動だったりします。（同窓会で味わう感覚に似ているかもしれません。）
さて、今回出向いたのは、九州の最北端。
以前は近くの集落まで路線バスがあったのですが、今では路線廃止になってしまったようです。
その集落の名前は「青浜」。なんか素敵な場所でしょ？
その青浜の先にあるのが、、、「部崎の灯台*」

当宿「灯火」の灯台にとっても、関門海峡を照らす一連の灯台達の親分的な存在として、とても重要な灯台です。
部崎の灯台についての子供の頃の思い出は、同じ区の中にありながら、電車・バスとを乗り継いで、終点のバス停からさらにずいぶんと歩いてようやくたどり着く場所ということです。そのせいか、灯台を見た瞬間、一緒に行った友達と灯台の下で食べたお弁当がものすごく美味しかった記憶が沸き起こりました。
たまには脳の奥の奥にある記憶に光を当ててみるのも悪くないですね。
