Artistic Autumn for the first time in 50 years @ Kitakyushu
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
There is actually a reason why I went to the art museum in this city for the first time in about 50 years.
It is to compare how different the paintings we treasure at our guesthouse are from the real thing.
I found out that the original of a certain painting had once been donated to this museum, and that it is on display in this exhibition.
We got a replica of the painting last year that depicts Mt. Fuji and waves, which is the host’s life work or life hobby, so I wanted to compare it to see how different it is from the real thing.
In conclusion, I found that the replica displayed at our hotel is not inferior to the real thing.
So, do you know which one is in the museum and which one is in our guesthouse?
We hope that this work, which represents Japan, will continue to entertain the eyes of inbound tourists at this guesthouse.

分っかるっかな、分っかっるかな？
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今回おおよそ５０年ぶりにこの街の美術館へ行ったのには、実は訳があります。
それは当宿で重宝している絵と、本物とがどれだけ違うのかを見比べるため。
ある絵のオリジナルが、かつてこちらの美術館に寄贈されていて、それが今回の展覧会で展示されていることが分かったから。
宿主のライフワークというか、ライフホビーである富士山と波とを一緒にあらわす絵、昨年レプリカを手に入れたけれど、本物とどれほど違うのか見比べたかったのです。
結論から言えば、当宿で掲示しているそのレプリカは、本物と比べても見劣りしないということが分かりました。
それでは、どちらが美術館ので、どちらが当宿のか分かりますか？
日本を代表するこの作品、今後もこの宿でインバウンドのみなさんの目を楽しませてくれることを期待しています。
