Meanwhile, some worrying news was reported.
There are concerns that rice yields will decline in major rice-growing areas of the country due to extreme heat and drought.
My favorite ramen shop has already raised the price of just “the rice dishes”…
Soon the rice may become more expensive than the main dish of ramen.

猛暑の影響
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
天気予報によれば、これまでも、そしてこれからも暑い日が続くようです。
本当に日本はもう亜熱帯なのかもしれません。
そんな中、心配なニュースが報道されていました。
国内の米どころで、猛暑と渇水のためお米の取れ高が下がる懸念があるとのこと。
行きつけのラーメン屋ではすでに「ごはんもの」だけの値段が値上げされていたりして、、、
そのうちに主食のラーメンよりもライスの方が高くなるのかもしれませんね。
それでは、私たちの主食のお米を作ってくれるお百姓さんに感謝して素敵な一日を！
