雨の関門海峡

立ち込めた雲で視界が制限される昼間の梅雨の景色について書きましたが、、、

実のところ、夜の方が魅力的なんです。

雲の中に頭を隠したタワーのイルミネーションがぼんやりと闇に浮かぶ様子はなんとも言えない光景です。

A view on a rainy day

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The rainy season has finally arrived in the Kanmon area.

Rain clouds were hanging low, and the top of the tower on the opposite bank was hidden in the clouds.

From our experiences, it seems that rain starts here when the top of the tower is obscured by clouds.

The tower is about 150m tall, so this weather conditions are quite harsh in this side, as the city is promoting night views.

At this guesthouse, we are prepared to provide local information so that our guests can enjoy sightseeing in the Kitakyushu and Kanmon area even on rainy days, so please feel free to ask us.

雨の風景

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

いよいよ梅雨が到来した関門エリアです。

雨雲が低く立ち込めていて、対岸のタワーは頭の部分が雲の中に隠れています。

経験から、ここではタワー上部が雲で見えなくなると雨が降り出すようです。

タワーの高さは約150mなので、市をあげて夜景観光を推しているこちら側ではこの気象状況は結構厳しいですね。

当宿では雨の日でもゲストさんが北九州・関門エリアを楽しく観光していただけるよう、地元情報をアドバイスできるように準備していますので、気軽におたずねください。

It can come any time

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Sunday, the sky was overcast after we saw our guests off.

I was thinking that the start of the rainy season could be declared at any time…

Sure enough, it was announced in the night.

However, the skies in the Kanmon area seemed to hold up,

and guests sent us happy messages and pictures saying he had enjoyed the fish market, the port town, and even the Tonkotsu ramen we recommended.

We wonder why it makes us happy when someone enjoys a spot we recommend to them, considering the type of guests.

いつ来てもおかしくない

日曜日、ゲストさんを送り出した後の空模様はどんより。

いつ梅雨入りが宣言されてもおかしくないな、と思っていたら、、、

案の定、夜になって梅雨入りが発表されました。

とはいっても、関門エリアの空はなんとか持ち堪えたようで、

ゲストさんからは、アドバイスした魚市場も、港町も、とんこつラーメンまで楽しめましたと喜びのメッセージと画像とが送られてきました。
