Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
At this guesthouse TOUKA, unexpected things happen, in a good way, like when our guests recommend a nice spot in the town (Christmas market), which was something we’ve never experienced before…
Looking back this month, the guests who stayed with us in November were all very unique.
The three guests who stayed at the beginning of the month told that their main purpose for staying was watching sports together!
It’s not watching physical sport like we have known…
Apparently what they do is watching E-sports championship.

Because they wouldn’t be able to watch the game with friends who live far away, if they stayed in the home country, so the timing was chosen to coincide with their trip.
Watching the Olympics with our guests has been a dream since we first opened, and the dream came true with the Rio, Tokyo and Paris Olympics.
When we first opened, we never could have imagined that it would shift to watching e-sports.
The three guests connected through online games, and one of them met for the first time, so it truly is a “New Genesis”!
The result of watching the final match was that the “Korean team” they were rooting defeat China and win the championship. (the host couldn’t join them until the result was known.)
The results were announced almost early in the morning, so they came down the stairs the next day still half asleep.

新時代だ！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ゲストさんにこの街の素敵なスポット（クリスマス・マーケット）をオススメしてもらうなんてこれまでなかった展開があったりと、いい意味の想定外が起こる当宿「灯火」ですが、、、
思い返してみると、この１１月にご利用いただいたゲストさんたちはとてもユニークな方ばかりでした。
月初に滞在された三人組のゲストさんは滞在の主目的はスポーツ観戦！
それもこれまでのようなフィジカルなスポーツではなくて、、、
なんとEスポーツ観戦！

お国にいたのでは離れたところに住む仲間と一緒に観戦できないからと、旅行とタイミングを合わされたようです。
オリンピックをゲストさんたちと一緒に観戦することは開業時からの夢でもあり、リオ、東京、パリとそれぞれのオリンピックで実現しましたが、、、
それがまさかEスポーツの観戦にまで発展するなんて、開業当初には想像だにできなかったことです。
ゲスト三人の繋がりもオンラインゲームだったり、一人とは今回初めて会ったらしくて、まさに「新時代」だっ！
観戦の結果は、、、応援する「韓国チーム」が中国を逆転で破り優勝したそうです。（宿主は結果が分かるまで付き合えませんでした。）
結果が決まったのはほぼ早朝だったようで、翌日は寝ぼけ眼で降りてこられました。
