Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Online ticket application for Tokyo Olympic 2020 has been focused on several mass medias lately. And that makes us feel that the Olympic game will really come soon.

But what is the Olympic games?

As I have run a comparably new business such as managing guesthouse in Japan and I sometimes talk ｍore with foreign people than Japanese people, I may think different from ordinary (Japanese) people.

Recently I have a feeling that why country is so important.

There are so many people moving beyond the borders and their sense of country has become minimizing now. But the Olympic game promote their patriot. For what?
(Last month, we had a guest from Aizu visiting Choshu for sightseeing. The two areas/countries in Japan had fought hardly only about 160 years ago. And I start having strange feeling about sense of country.)

I also have strange feeling about the athletes. Should we assume that Naomi Osaka only Japanese, as well as Aska Cambridge and Abdul Hakim Sani Brown (who was born just here, in Kitakyushu).

Nowadays, the type of people who concern most about country may be politicians who rely on the tax to much. If “Furusato nozei”, Japanese tax reduction system can apply for the donation to Bangladesh who support refugees, Rohingya people, from Myanmar, we may have dreamed world on this earth.

Japanese mass media should focus more on the featured athletes of each event on Olympic games, not only Japanese athletes.

P.S. There is another feeling which I wonder that will disappear from the earth. It is the sense of marriage. Let’s topic it on the other day.

近いうちに 消滅しそうなもの！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

マスメディアではオリンピックチケットのことが頻繁に取り上げられていて、日に日にオリンピック色が強くなっていることを感じます。

ただ どうなんでしょう？ オリンピックって！？

ゲストハウスなんて比較的新手のビジネスを切り盛りしていて、時には日本人よりもガイジンさんたちと話すことの方が多い日もあったりしていると、普通の人（にっぽん人）が考えない感覚を持つようになります。

今さらなんで「国」！？っていう感覚です。

これだけ人が国境を越えて行き来していると、国という意識は弱くなっているように感じます。愛国心を扇動してどうなるんでしょう？
（先日、会津の若者が長州へ遊びにきたのをおもてなしして、人のもつ「くに」に対する違和感を強めました。）

選手にしても同様で、大坂なおみ選手を「にっぽん」という枠に縛ることに不自然感を覚えるし、ケンブリッジ選手にもレゲエやボルトの匂いを感じます。さらにここ北九州出身（らしい）のサニブラウン選手もたまたまココで生まれただけという気がして仕方ありません。

そのうちに国なんて気にするのは、税金を食い物にしている政治家だけになるのでは？ 「ふるさと納税」もミャンマーのロヒンギャを難民として受け入れているバングラディッシュに対して個人レベルで行う、そんな時代が来れば世界はもっと夢の世界に近づくのかもしれません。

マスメディアも日本人代表候補だけでなく、国を越えた各競技の世界レベルでの「注目選手」をもっととりあげるべきではないでしょうか？

P.S. 国という意識より、さらに先行してこの世から消滅しそうなのは「結婚っていう名の儀式」だと感じていますが、その話題は別の機会に、、、「愛 ＝ 結婚」？？
国も 結婚も 今当たり前と思っている感覚、、、実は本当に必要でしょうか？
