Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It was on the way back from Tokyo, when I visited tornado and earthquake disaster spots where I could experience natural disasters firsthand.

In fact, on the way there, I stopped off at my favorite spot that I discovered this year.

Last week, there was news that Mount Fuji had its first snowfall, and some people say that Mount Fuji is most beautiful when covered in snow…

However, if you choose the right place to look, Mount Fuji can look incredibly beautiful even without snow.

And the reason I like this spot isn’t just because it offers a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.

I’ll explain why another day..

お気に入りスポット大賞 2025

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

自然災害を直に感じる竜巻・震災スポットを巡ったのは、今回の東京行きの復路。

実は往路には、今年見つけた一番のお気に入りスポットに立ち寄っています。

先週あたり富士山が初冠雪したとのニュースに、雪のある富士山が一番きれいだという方もいらっしゃいますが、、、

見る場所さえちゃんと選べば、雪のない富士山も抜群にきれいに見えるんです。

それにこのスポットがお気に入りなのは、ただ富士山がきれいに見えるからだけではないんです。

それがなぜかについてはまた日をあらためて、、、

それでは、涙が出るほど感動する景色の中に立ち尽くす素敵な一日を！

What everyone doesn’t know

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Just after 10 days, 18,000 large fireworks will be launched into this sky,

and far more people than that number will be looking up at the sky from both shores and the sea…

What most people don’t know is 

that the sky here is usually very beautiful without any fireworks,

みなの知らないこと

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

あと１０日もすると、この空に大輪の花火が18,000発打ち上げられて、

その数を遥かに超える人たちが、両岸そして海上から空を見上げるわけですが、、、

そのほとんどが知らないのが、

ここでは花火の上がっていない普段の空がとてもきれいで、

The very best time!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Twilight time is nice, but to be honest, the best time here is early in the morning.

Down below, every night and morning has been difficult to sleep without air conditioning in this summer, so I can only say that I am very grateful to be able to wear long trousers and a long-sleeved top and feel just right.

What’s more, in eastern Japan, the sky begins to lighten early, just after 3am, so after admiring the mountains and the sky filled with clouds that resemble those in UKIYO-E paintings, the few hours of sleep wrapped up in a blanket again are truly blissful.

一番の醍醐味！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

黄昏時も良いんですが、正直に言うとやっぱりココの醍醐味は早朝です。

下界では、毎晩クーラー無しでは寝苦しい夜・朝が続いているこの夏に、

長ズボンを履いて、上は長袖を羽織ってちょうど心地良いなんて、ありがたいとしか言いようがありません。

おまけに、東日本では空が明るくなり始めるのが午前３時過ぎと早いので、早朝に山と浮世絵のような雲が広がる空を拝んだ後で、また再びブランケットにくるまってひと眠りする数時間は至福の時間です。

それでは、何度も至福の朝を楽しむ素敵な一日を！
