The constituency I am most curious about!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
We had super clear blue sky on Friday here in Kanmon area.
And we are going into House of Representatives election weekend in Japan.
As a matter of fact, I have a constituency I am most curious about. It is more interesting than the constituency of mine.
It is the 4th district of Yamaguchi. which is the other side of Kanmon strait, we are watching everyday.
It is a very biased constituency, such as major opposition party doesn’t field a candidate but this can be the election which will reveal conscience and dignity of the residents living there. I am more curious about how they will vote than who will win.
If he, who had been in trouble in the diet, will get more vote than last time and win, it will be the proof that
the people are the one who deem “the viewing party” acceptable and
the people are the one who cannot empathize with the vexation of the officer who suicide as the result of “SONTAKU (evil surmise)” of ministry and the frustration of his wife every time her request of re-investigation was rejected by ruling party.
If I were a resident of the other side, I will vote an opposing candidate for single-seat constituency or cast a blank vote and vote opposition party for proportional representation.
(Opinions vary from person to person but the result will show the characteristics of the people of the area definitely.)
As I finally got documents of absentee ballot yesterday, I will cast a vote after think carefully.

とっても気になる地区！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
金曜日の関門エリアは朝からスッキリ晴れて良いお天気でした。
そしてこの週末、日本では国をあげての選挙です。
実をいうと、今回の選挙では自分が投票権のある選挙区よりも、ずっと興味のある選挙区があります。
それは当宿から関門海峡の向こう見える対岸、山口４区です。
野党の主力政党も候補を擁立しないとても偏った選挙区ですが、今回はこの地区の有権者の良心と品格とが結果に表れる選挙だと考えるからです。誰が当選するかよりも、どう投票するかに大きな関心があります。
仮にあれだけ物議を醸した彼が前回以上の得票で当選するのなら、この地域の人達は、、、
この国にとって「見る会」を良しと考える人たちであって、
「忖度」の末に自殺に追い込まれた官僚の無念さや、再調査を嘆願しても受け入れられないその妻の悔しさを共感できない人たちだと考えられるからです。
もし自分が対岸の住民なら、きっと小選挙区には対立候補か無記名、比例代表には野党を入れるでしょう。
（考え方には個人差がありますが、結果には間違いなく体質が表れるかと。）
自分にもようやく不在者投票の書類が届いたので、心して投票するつもりです。
