Our favorite Kitakyushu temperament
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The long holidays are over and daily life is back to normal. (In western countries, it is not that long, but…)
Unfortunately, it rained on the last day here in Kitakyushu.
However, the rain stopped by mid-morning, and we received pictures of the wisteria garden from a guest staying here on the last day.
In recent years, the wisteria flowers have been blooming earlier than usual due to global warming, but this year they were able to be seen throughout Golden Week, which pleased our guests.
The wisteria garden here closed at the end of the holidays.
Even though the park was so beautiful on the final day that it would normally be possible to charge a higher variable admission fee, it was apparently the lowest price as a token of appreciation for the number of visitors on the rainy final day.
Oh, this is a bit considerate Kitakyushu temperament.
We felt that there are temperaments like this in Kitakyushu and that it’s a nice aspect of us.
On the first working day after the holidays, similar news was reported across the country such as mothers and children getting into accidents on their way to kindergarten.
Here in Kitakyushu, I once encountered a serious accident involving a car and crane right after it happened.

ちょっと良い北九気質
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
長い連休も終わり、日常が戻ってきました。（欧米では決して長くはありませんが、、、）
ここ北九州の連休最終日はあいにくの雨となりました。
それでも雨は午前中には上がり、連休最終日に滞在されたゲストさんからは藤園の様子が送られてきました。
ここ数年、温暖化のためか見頃が早まっていた藤の花ですが、今年の藤はGW中ずっと見られたようで、ゲストさんたちも喜んでおられました。
連休終了と同時にこちらの藤園も閉園。
最終日の変動性入園料はいつもならもっととれる綺麗さだったのにもかかわらず、雨と最終日の来園者に感謝してか、最低価格だったそうで、粋な計らいだなぁと感心しました。
これぞ小粋な北九州気質！
北九州ってこういうところあるよなぁ、なんか良いよなぁ、と感じました。
さて、連休明け初日、全国でも通園中の母子が事故に遭うなどのニュースが報じられていましたが、ここ北九州でも、、、
乗用車とクレーン車とのちょっとひどい事故直後に遭遇することがありました。
