Things to keep in mind before colliding
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
When we were driving down the road, I saw a flashing red light far ahead.
As we got closer, the flow of traffic slowed down, and when we passed the scene, we saw that it was a severe right-turn accident.
On our way back after completing some businesses, which took about a few hours, we encountered a huge traffic jam.
We thought the accident had been resolved, but it looks like they’ve just started moving the cars.
The situation was worse than I had imagined when I first saw it, and all vehicles involved had airbags deployed, so we were hoping there were no casualties.
What caught my eye most of all was the yellow, square sticker that on the right-turn vehicle.
It’s a rental car company’s one that we’ve seen a lot over the past several years.(I have also used one of their car before.)
Judging from the circumstances, it appears that the rental car that was trying to turn right was at fault for the accident.
That’s when I came up with the idea of foreign tourist drivers, who I’ve been seeing more and more recently.
The number of foreign guests who come to our guesthouse by rental car is also increasing.
It was at that moment that I felt strongly that I needed to be careful not only when I was driving, but also to alert our future guests who will come here by car.

ぶつかる前の留意
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
道を走っていると、はるか前方に赤色灯の点滅するのが見えてきました。
近づくにつれ、当然のように車の流れは遅くなり、現場を通過した時に見た状況は、ひどい右直事故でした。
小一時間かけて用事を済ませ戻る帰路、今度は凄い渋滞。
事故処理は終わっているだろうと思っていたのに、まだ車の移動を始めたような状態です。
状況は先に見た時に想像したよりもひどくて、関係車両はどれもエアバッグが作動していて、死傷者がないことを祈る感じでした。
なにより自分の目が留まったのは、車両に貼ってあった黄色くて四角いステッカー。
数年前からよくみるようになったレンタカー会社のものです。（自分も以前利用したことあります。）
事故は状況から右折しようとしたレンタカーに非がありそうです。
そこで思いついたのは、最近ひんぱんに見かけるようになった外国人観光客ドライバー。
当宿のゲストさんにもレンタカーでいらっしゃる外国人ゲスト増えています。
自分自身の運転に、そして車でくるというゲストさんたちにも注意を換気しないと強く感じた瞬間でした。
