Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
We can find various interesting things by just walking around this town.
This is continuation from the article of few days ago about seaside walking.
A cool shaped ship was moored at the pier.
It was a popular aegis destroyer. It was very lucky for me, because I’ve wanted to see the ship for long time.
And anther lucky thing was that I could see the ceremony of taking down the rising sun flag.
I felt tense in the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony with trumpet sound. So did others around myself.
On the way back from central of our port town. I found pretty illuminated ship on the pier.
And soon I found that it was the same aegis destroyer which I saw on the way.
This is my first time to know that self defense force ship can be decorated with illumination lamps.
I was surprised at the gap between pretty illumination and fierce look destroyer.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
この町は本当にユニークで、散歩しているだけでいろいろ面白いものに出会います。
海辺の散歩の続き。
岸壁にどこか精悍なシルエットの船が停泊していました。
なんとなにかと話題をよんでいるイージス艦です。ずっと見たかった艦を初めてわが町でみることができました。
ちょうど夕暮れ時だったこともあり、日没にあわせて旭日旗を後納するセレモニーも見ることができました。
ラッパの音が鳴り響き、不思議と身が引き締まる思いがしたのはそこで見学した人の中で自分だけではなかったようです。
港町まで散歩して、その帰り道には、年の瀬らしく電飾で可愛く飾られた船も、、、
でもよく見ると、さっきみたイージス艦です。
自衛隊って電灯艦飾されることがあるんですね。今回はじめて知りました。
強面の雰囲気からギャップが大きすぎてとても意外でした。
