Speaking of cheap things, here’s what’s hot right now!
Yes, it’s the supermarket closest to this guesthouse and our favorite shopping spot.
Specially, this item in their delicatessen is very helpful, when we have guests check-in.
Amazingly, you can now enjoy these items in Tokyo too.
The images were taken two weeks ago at a supermarket in one of Tokyo’s 23 wards.
What’s interesting here is that many of the items in stock were additionally discounted, likely because they were so cheap that Tokyo residents were worried about buying them.
There were also a lot of unsold processed foods on sale, probably because they were priced at the retail price, which was too cheap. Even though they were made by the nation-wide famous Ito Ham…
The same goes for OHAGI, sweet rice balls!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
先の記事では、おいらの街のガソリンが全国的に見てもいい感じで安いということを話しましたが、、、
安いといえば、今ホットなのがこちら！
そう、当宿最寄り／御用達のスーパーマーケット。
特にゲストのチェックインがある時にお世話になっているのが、このお惣菜です。
そのアイテムがなんと、今東京でも楽しめるようになっているんです。
画像は２週間前の２３区内の都内とあるスーパーのもの。
ここで面白いのが、あまりに安すぎるために不安で都民の手が出ないのか多くの在庫が値引きになっていたこと。
加工食品も、価格が定価レベルで安すぎるためかたくさん売れ残りセールになっていました。天下の伊藤ハム製なのに、、、笑
おはぎもしかり！

そんな安すぎて売れ残るといった奇妙な現象が起きているスーパー業界の再編ですが、、、
マスメディアで取り上げられて、正しく注目されれば「大化け」する予感に満ち溢れています。

同店ヘビーユーザーの宿としては、たくさん売れることで購買力を高めてもらって、さらに安く商品を提供してほしいですね！
もちろん、買収対象相手側のブランドも北九州の店舗には並んでいます。
