Did I run over and kill her?! Be very careful at night
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On the road toward the leaf spot for surf, I drove through farming villages from capital of neighbor prefecture.
Suddenly something big and brown jumped into the headlights from right road side.
Next moment I heard the sound my car hit heavy material and I saw the object rolling on the road about 5 meters showing brown part and white part alternately.
Looking sideway that object lay down on the street, I checked the damage on the car. After I confirmed that there is no serious damage, I look around to the object and I saw the body was disappeared without a trace.
After the accident, I also saw more than 20 pieces during driving only about an hour. I was surprised by the abundance of nature.
I double-checked front bumper of my car next morning and found deer hairs on it.
That was my second experience hitting brown object. The first time was on the way back from overtime in U.S.
Same as the last time, it may tend to jump into the lights.
I heard that wild animal are increasing even suburbs all over Japan, and I recognized that we should be very careful driving at night.

あっ ひき殺しちゃった！？ 夜はホントにご用心
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
海に向かう未明の道、隣の県の県庁所在地から農村地域を走り抜けていると、、、
突然、道路の左から大きくて茶色の影がヘッドライトの明かりの中に飛び込んできました。
次の瞬間、鈍く当たる音がした後、その物体は茶色と白色とを交互に見せながら５mほど先まで転がっていくのが見えました。
その物体が道路の上に横たわっているのを横目に車へのダメージを確認したところ、目で見てはっきり分かるようなダメージがないことが確認できたので、あらためて物体の方を振り返ると、横たわっていた巨体は跡形もなく消えていました。
その後もわずか１時間弱の運転の間に見かけた個体は２０頭を上回り、自然の多さに驚かされました。
翌朝、車のバンパーを調べると、ダメージはないものの鹿の毛が挟まっていました。
人生二度目の経験、前はアメリカでの残業からの帰路。
前回同様今回も光の方に向かって、わざわざ飛び込んでくるような感じでした。
郊外でも獣が増えているそうで、運転も 夜はホントにご用心！ご用心！
