Yes, we are in the middle of!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

We have this year’s first sultry night on Tuesday.

We check air conditioning system in the morning and prepare comfortable stay for our guests.

We have extremely hot day with cicada singing on Monday, and sultry night on Tuesday. Yes, we are in the middle of Summer now.

MEKARI Sea Water Swimming Pool will open in this weekend. Let’s enjoy summer in KANMON!

Some one may imagine this kind of natural pool, but not. Mekari is neat pool for swimmer. As its water is filtered salt water, it is very clear and easy to float.

さあ、本番です！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

火曜日はなんと、今年最初の熱帯夜！

午前中にエアコンを試運転し、夜ゲストが快適に過ごせるように備えます。

月曜に真夏日も、火曜には熱帯夜もやってきて、さあ夏本番です。

週末には「和布刈塩水プール」もプール開きするし、関門の夏を満喫しましょう！

＊「和布刈塩水プール」の英語名称は　“MEKARI Sea Water Swimming Pool” 海水プールと聞いてこんなのを思い浮かべる人がいるかも知れませんが、和布刈は整備されたプールです。ろ過された海水はこんなに透明でキレイです。

Now we can see whole. It is like this!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

After I went to the bank, I drove round our town to see it.

Temporary construction walls were partly removed in the beginning of June, but now all walls were removed as of yesterday.
So we can see whole station building now.

We hope many people will come to see this after the renewal, as Tokyo station after its renewal. These two stations were originally built in same year, 1914.

銀行に行ったついでに、回り道をすると、、、

６月初めには一部だけ除去されていた現場の仮囲いが、ほぼ全て除去されていて、駅舎全体が見えていました。

リニューアルが終わると、同い年大正３年生まれの東京駅のリニューアルのように見物に来る人が押し寄せるといいですね。

I went to see the big passenger ship from France.

However, to tell the truth, when I arrived at the pier, my interest was no longer in the French ship.

My interest was toward this boat.

This unique designed and beautiful maintained ship is private owned boat.
And the owner is Russian billionaire.

(It has length of 119m and costs US$300 million. There were galleries who came from the other side, Shimonoseki. Because she got big interest, when she found this boat from the bus running there.)

I am really dreaming that this town will have yacht harbor for private cruiser/sailing boats and owner (Japanese) to moor their boat. It doesn’t need to be for this billionaire’s boat.
(I mean at retro area or close area, not reverse side of Moji. I wonder why they made it at reverse side.)

もっと気になる存在！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

はるばるフランスからやって来た客船を見に行ったのですが、、、

正直言うと、自分の心はその船にはありませんでした。

では、どこに向いていたかといえば、、、

ロシアの大富豪が個人所有しているそうです。

（全長119m。建造費は330億円ほど。対岸の通勤バスから見えていたのが気になって見に来たというギャラリーもいらっしゃいました。）

ココまでスゴくなくて良いのですが、個人（日本人）所有のクルーザーやヨットが停泊・オーバーナイトで係留できる施設が、わが町に出来るといいなぁと心から思います。
（裏門司にではなくてね、、、なんで裏門司に作っちゃったんだろう？）
