Listening to the sound of rain
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Surprisingly, people can enjoy staying in this guesthouse even on a rainy day.
The sound of rain may have effect to heal our soul, we seem to sleep very well.
The guests who stayed here a few days ago said so too.
Not only just the sound of rain, but also greens surrounding us and flowing rainwater because we are on slope may create such effect.
In addition, we can hear the fog horns more often from the sea under low visibility.
However, the rain in the last few days is different.
In the town I visited yesterday, the rain-swollen rivers have been rising and flow very fast. I was afraid that it will be flooded if we have a little more rain.
A news flash of discharging Masubuchi dam, the water bottle of Kitakyushu, was broadcasted.
We do hope nothing will happen.

雨音を聴きながら
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。
意外ですが、雨の日にも当宿の滞在は楽しめるようです。
雨の音が心を落ち着かせるのか、けっこうグッスリ眠れるようです。
数日前に滞在されたゲストさんもそうおっしゃってました。
雨だけでなく、当宿を囲む緑や、何よりも坂なので流れる水の音がそうした効果を生むのではないかと思います。
視界が悪くなることによって海から霧笛も聞こえてきますし、、、
けれども、ここ数日の雨は様子が違います。
出かけた先の町でも、川は水かさを増し勢いよく流れていました。もう少し降ると氾濫するんじゃないかと感じられたほどです。
北九州の水瓶「鱒渕ダム」も放水を始めたと速報ニュースも流れていました。
大事が起きないといいのですが、、、
