Haven’t seen it in a while

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Thursday the Kanmon area started off with cloudy skies again, with just a few blue patches.

I can’t remember seeing a clear, sunny sky since the beginning of March.

In the afternoon, the area of blue sky began to expand a little.

So, if you ask me, do I want the weather to clear up?

It’s March now and I’m feeling a bit strange about the weather, but to be honest I’d be happier if it rained.

ひさしく見てない

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

木曜日の関門エリアは少しだけ青い部分があるもまたまたくもり空で始まりました。

三月に入ってスッキリ晴れた日を見た記憶がないなぁと思っていると、

午後になって少し青空の面積が広がってきました。

では、晴れ上がってほしいのか？といえば、、、

季節柄ちょっと微妙な気分で、正直いうと雨の方がうれしかったりする三月です。

今日の勝敗 / The North Wind and the Sun

The North Wind and the Sun

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

This week’s Kanmon area is

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

even though the warm sunshine is pouring down, the strong north wind cancels it out and makes entire area very cold. In other words, “the north wind wins”… every day in this week continues like this.

Thankfully, the temperature has not risen, and the amount of pollen scattered is still very low here.

Also, as a guesthouse, the laundry dries quickly, and if we wait a little while to blow dry air into the guest room, we can quickly change the air, which is very helpful.

So, personally, I’m a little scared of it getting warmer in a few days.

You wonder why?

It is because cedar pollen that is being suppressed from scattering now will come in large quantities all at once when it gets warmer!

今日の勝敗

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週の関門エリアは、

暖かい日差しは降り注ぐも、強烈な北風がそれを打ち消してとっても寒い、つまり「北風の勝ち」、、、そんな毎日が続いています。

ありがたいのは気温が上がらないことで、花粉の飛散量がまだ全然少ないこと。

そして、宿としては洗濯物はすぐに乾くし、少しの時間我慢して乾いた風を客室に入れれば空気の入れ替えが短時間で出来るのでとても助かっています。

というわけで、このあと、暖かくなるのが少し怖い今日この頃です。

なぜって？

今押さえられている分、暖かくなると一気に・大量に来るそうですよ、、、花粉が！

それでは、今のうちにしっかり準備して素敵な一日を！

It was snowing quite a lot early in the morning on Sunday here in the Kanmon area…

However, by the time the guests went out for sightseeing, we could see blue sky and started to get sunshine.
