After the rain

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

On Tuesday, after the rain, I walked around this town with many slopes to do my personal business.

And I found beautifully blooming UME (Japanese plum) flowers in this neighborhood.

It is spring now, I did realized.

Yes, but it is spring and after the rain. You know, the next day after the rain will be very bad for the people with pollen allergy.

This is pollen forecast of today, Wednesday. Here, it is better than other areas, as you see?

雨上がりの火曜日、用事に合わせて、この坂の町を散歩すると、、、

ご近所の梅がきれいに咲いていました。

春ですね。

そうです。雨の降った後です。春雨の翌日は花粉症の人には大変です。

今日水曜日の予報ですが、、、ほらね、他と比べると今日も関門エリアは少しマシでしょう。

Warm days have been continuing since last weekend.

Sky is fine but looks a little hazy.

We wonder if this is because of pollens and we are about to worry, but my eyes and nose are OK so far.

You can see the reason by watching these forecast of airborne pollen levels we often see lately.

We talked about this days before and we are recognizing that pollen level here is lower than neighbor areas.

This is a nice place to shut ourselves in this time of a year.
(The manager of TOUKA once thought of moving to Hokkaido or Okinawa where has no cedar trees. But now he knows a secret spot to escape from pollen.)

ウソ言ってないでしょ？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。

週末から暖かい日が続いています。

天気は良いのですが、なんとなく霞んでいるような、、、

もしかして花粉？！と、ビビりそうになりそうですが、意外と自分の目鼻は大丈夫なんです。

その理由は、、、最近良く見る予報のパターンがこちら。

前にも話題にしましたが、やっぱり関門エリアは近隣と比べても花粉少ないみたいです。

この時期、籠もるには最高のスポットですね。
（宿主は、前職退職前にはスギ花粉のない北海道・沖縄への移住も検討していましたが、、、関門　穴場です。）

草の根 / Grassroots

Grassroots

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The first day of spring (Feb.4th) was already over, but we have mid-winter weather with snow fall this weekend.

In the middle of thinking about how valuable this area is for the people who are thinking to move (back/out) from big cities, a guest who is changing job stayed in this guesthouse.

As her career matches very much to the demand of this town and she looks tired with living in a big city, we promoted merits and conveniences of living in this smaller city, Kitakyushu, casually.

We did recognize our grassroots style of advising the merit of this town, specially to the tourists who are interested in this place naturally and our friends who once abandoned their hometown for big cities, to call them (back) to this town.

Don’t you try to perceive the hidden charm of this charm.

草の根

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

立春は過ぎたというのに、真冬日の雪もチラつく凍える週末です。

ＵターンやＩターン移住を考える人に、この町がどれほど価値があるか見直している矢先、ちょうど転職のタイミングだというゲストさんのご利用がありました。

それもこの町が喉から手が出るほど欲しい職歴をお持ちの方。大都会での生活にも疲れているご様子だったので、小都会 北九州の良さや利便性をさりげなく売り込んでおきました。

これまでどおり大上段に構えることなく、素直にこの町に興味を持ってやって来た旅人や、一旦は故郷を捨てて大都会へ出ていった知人を呼び込む・呼び戻す草の根活動を続けていこうと自らの立ち位置を再確認しました。

隠れ家的な？この町の魅力に触れにきませんか。
