Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On Friday, the Kitakyushu/Kanmon area experienced more rain than forecasted,
but the weather is expected to improve this weekend.
If that happens, it is expected that many people will flock to the city’s famous cherry blossom spots.
There will also be many tour buses carrying inbound tourists.
It’s nice to be excited by the flowers in full bloom and admire the castle through the cherry blossoms,
however, I would like everyone to take a moment to calm down and keep an eye on things.
Something sad was happening under the fence in a perfect spot for cherry blossom viewing.
I saw people, distracted by the cherry blossoms, started trampling down the plants at their feet one after another.
In fact, this plant also produces flowers.
The same plants were blooming with lovely flowers in the flower bed right next to the place.
The scene reminded me of modern society, where attention is focused only on the hot topics of the day, without noticing the people suffering at the bottom of this society.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
金曜日の北九州・関門エリアは予報以上に雨のお天気でしたが、、、
この週末、天気は回復するそうです。
そうなると街の桜の名所には大勢が押しかけるのではないかと予想されます。
インバウンドのツーリストを乗せた観光バスもたくさん来るでしょう。
満開の花に興奮気味に、桜越しに見上げるお城を愛でるのもいいのですが、
少し冷静になって足元を見る余裕も欲しいですね。
花見にちょうど良い場所の柵の下では、かわいそうなことが起きていました。
様子を見ていると、桜に気を取られた人たちが次々に踏み倒していきます。
この植物も花です。
すぐ横の花壇には同じ植物が可憐な花を付けています。
その光景は時の話題ばかりが注目されて、足元で苦しい思いをしている人たちに気が付かない現代社会のようにも見えました。
