I tried to feel the inbound rush to Japan

Since the spread of COVID-19 subsided, I feel that the number of foreign tourists has increased considerably, even in B-class tourist destinations like here.
That number is staggering in metropolitan areas such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and in A-class tourist destinations such as Kyoto, Yufuin, and Kurokawa Onsen.
As Japanese people, we can feel the situation as a phenomenon from news reports and scenes on the streets, but
It is difficult to get a feel for why GAIJIN tourists actually choose Japan.

新型コロナウイルスの感染がおさまって以来、当地のようなB級観光地でもずいぶん外国人観光が増えている気がします。
東京や大阪や福岡のような大都市圏、京都や湯布院や黒川温泉のようなA級の観光地ではその数は凄まじいものとなっています。
日本人である私たちは、ニュース報道や街角の様子からその状況を現象として感じることはできるのですが、
実際にやってくるガイジン観光客がなぜ日本を選ぶのか、その気持ちを体感することはなかなかできません。
