I am a host who is seriously looking for a restaurant here in my hometown that I would like to visit once a month or once every two months.

Finally, I found it!

I visited there during lunch time, and I chose one item from the menu, sword-shaved noodles, which I had never eaten since returning here.

At first, I thought the price of 1000JPY might be a little expensive for a bowl of Chinese noodle.

it comes with an all-you-can-eat buffet of side dishes of unbelievable quality.

I really liked the yakisoba, which had flavors that I can’t get at ordinary Chinese restaurants in town, and juicy fried chicken very much.

In the end, I got another plate of side dishes and had free coffee after the meal, making it a very satisfying lunch.

Yes, I found a restaurant/cuisine that I want to go to once a month!

Wait, who taught me this restaurant?

I learned this from a local TV program. We have to have high antennas and be sensitive to all kinds of information, right?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

月一、ふた月に一度、通いたくなるようなお店をここホームタウンで真剣に探している宿主です。

ようやく、そしてやっとのことで見つけました！

ランチの時間に訪ねたのですが、そのメニューから一品、自分はこちらに戻ってからは食べたことのなかった刀削麺を選びました。

中華の麺類として、その価格1000円はちょっと高いかもと思いましたが、

実は、このランチのメニューから一品注文すると、、、

信じられないクオリティの副菜のビュッフェ（バイキング）、それも食べ放題が付いてくるんです。

自分は町中華では食べられない味の焼きそばと唐揚げがとても気に入りました。

結局、副菜もお代わりして、食後には無料のコーヒーもいただき満足すぎるランチとなりました。

Current objective

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The host has current issues that he is currently working on as a top priority.

This time, while eating Yamanashi udon, I thought it seriously.

Between Kitakyushu and Tokyo, there are restaurants that serve the kind of food you’d want to eat once a month or once every two months, but I can’t think of any of them here.

It doesn’t have to be expensive food. Even local fast food is OK, as well as the type of food that you want to eat again after a while.

It doesn’t mean that such food has never existed here. I remember that there had been here some a long time ago.

I’ve been searching so far, and the only things I can think of right now are “Champon/Yakisoba” and the meat udon in front of the station, but even them, I feel like I’ve finally found them.

If there is such food here in the Kitakyushu/Kanmon area, I would really like to know it and try it.

目下の課題

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

当宿の宿主には現在最優先で取り組んでいる目下の課題があります。

今回、山梨のうどんを食べながら、しみじみ思いました。

北九州を出て東京に向かうまでの間には、月イチ、二ヶ月に一度ぐらいの頻度で食べたくなる食のメニューそれを提供するお店があるのに、ここでは思いつきません。

高級な料理でなくてもいいんです。ローカルファストフードでも、食べてしばらくするとまた食べたくなる、そういう食べ物です。

以前よりずっとなかったわけではありません。昔はあったように記憶しています。

これまで探索してきて、今思いつくのは「ちゃんぽん・焼きそば」と駅前の肉うどんぐらいで、それでもようやく見つけたという感じです。

ここ北九州・関門エリアに、そういう食べ物があるならすごく知りたい、食べてみたいです。

In the previous article, the host recommended “Yoshida Udon” when you will visit Japan’s highest/best mountain, Mt. Fuji.

I would like to leave some additional information.

The image posted in the previous article was Niku Kinpira Udon (meet and Gobou root Udon).

This time I was convinced that what I should recommend is simply “Kake Udon.”

Because you can enjoy its unique noodles and soup…

Plus, there are plenty of free toppings, so even if you order just Kake Udon, it will be changed to “Deluxe Tanuki Udon” by the time you get to your seat. (Specially I want you to try free local spice “Suridane” there.)

I would like people in Fukuoka who eat ultra-soft Udon every day to experience Yoshida Udon with the choice of “Kake.”

So, you want to know which Udon restaurant I do recommend?

I’ve visited many different Udon restaurants for years, but…

the host highly recommend this restaurant, which seems to be the easiest to visit but surprisingly not so many people recommend.

While most Udon restaurants in that town close around 3pm, this restaurant is one of the few that stays open until the evening.

As you can see, the host thoroughly enjoyed “Yoshida Udon” of this restaurant on both his way to and from Tokyo.

補足

先の記事で日本一の山、富士山観光の際にとオススメした吉田うどん。

追加情報を補足しておきます。

先の記事に掲載した画像は肉きんぴらうどんでしたが、、、

オススメすべきはシンプルに「かけうどん」だと今回確信しました。

なぜなら、特徴ある麺とつゆを堪能できるから、、、

それに無料のトッピングが充実しているので、かけうどんを注文しても、席に着いた時には「デラックスたぬきうどん」に変わっています。（薬味の「すりだね」はぜひトライしてもらいたいですね。）

超やわうどんを日々食している福岡の人にこそ、「かけ」で吉田うどんを体験・体感してほしいです。

で、おすすめのお店はどこかって？

これまで数年かけて色んなお店をまわってみましたが、、、

宿主は一番利用しやすそうで、意外と推す人が少なかったりするこちらのお店が一押しです。

町のほとんどのうどん屋が３時ぐらいで閉店する中、こちらのお店は夕方までやっている数少ないお店です。

と、ここまででお分かりのように、宿主は今回の東京への往路・復路両方でこちらの「吉田うどん」堪能させていただきました。
