Sky above Kitakyushu, sky above Tokyo

This is the sky here on Tuesday.

It doesn’t seem like the sky of rainy season at all, it’s already that of midsummer.

Looking at such sky here reminded me of the sky above Tokyo metropolitan!

I had seen on the news that a new approach route had been created to deal with the overcrowding of flights.（ https://www.mlit.go.jp/koku/haneda/action/  )

After the coronavirus pandemic ended, I walked around the city center for the first time in a long while and was surprised to see passenger planes flying constantly over Tokyo.

It looks like the sky above Fukuoka City.

Am I the only one who feels a little scared, because of the memories of 911 and the accident at the beginning of this year?

Even though I feel this anxiety, I can’t help but be curious about the view of Tokyo from the plane flying in this route.

I’m sure it’s even more spectacular than the view from the Sky Tree observation deck.

そんな空を見てて思い出したのが、東京の空！

コロナが終息して、久しぶりに都心を歩いて、今や東京上空を旅客機がひっきりなしに飛んでいることに驚きました。

なんかまるで福岡市の空みたいです。

９１１の記憶や、今年の年明けの事故のこともあって、ちょっと怖い気持ちになるのは自分だけでしょうか？

そんな不安を感じながらも、このルートで進入する飛行機からの東京の眺めが気になって仕方ありません。

きっとスカイツリーの展望台よりも壮観でしょうね。

As I slowly drove around the major cities in this country between Tokyo and Fukuoka, I learned many things.

One example is gas prices.

Even though the main energy prices within the same country, regional disparities are larger than expected.

Cheap areas that everyone is interested in are, for example, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Aichi, and Okayama.

And even compared to those regions, gasoline prices here in Kitakyushu are as low as theirs.

Similar regional differences can be seen in fresh food products in supermarkets.

After experiencing it in various areas, I realized how easy it is to live here in Kitakyushu.

If you think this is a lie, please take a leisurely drive between Tokyo and Kitakyushu on public roads.

If you are from the bubble generation and are thinking of escaping the metropolitan area for your Second Life, please give it a try.

東京・福岡間、、、主たる大都市をゆっくり車で巡ってみると、いろいろなことがわかってきました。

ひとつの例がガソリン価格。

同じ一国の中での主力エネルギー価格なのに、地域間格差は想像以上に大きい。

みなさんが気になる安い地域は、、、

例えば、神奈川、静岡、愛知、岡山あたり。

そして、そうした地域と比べても、ここ北九州は全然ひけを取らないぐらい安いっ。

同様の地域差はスーパーマーケットの生鮮食料品にも見られます。

様々な地域で体感してみて分かってきたのが、ここ北九州の暮らしやすさ。

嘘と思ったら、是非東京・北九州間を下道でのんびりドライブしてみてください。

Even though we are in the midst of the rainy season, the heat throughout Japan continues and makes us feel like we are going to melt.

Here in the Kanmon area, the temperature is in the low 30s due to the proximity to the sea, but in inland areas of Tokyo, combined with the heat island effect, temperatures can easily exceed 35 degrees.

I am very curious about how they are spending their time in such a hot Tokyo.

The scene outside the window they were looking at was, of course, a scrambled intersection in Shibuya.

The streets of Shibuya are full of GAIJIN everywhere.

Because Japanese people go back to their homes in the suburbs at night, I felt that the proportion of foreigners in the city in the night was over 80%.

There are a lot of GAIJINs even in the loud bus! Are they people who love to party?

Center Street is also full of GAIJIN. It doesn’t seem like they are Japanese Halloween freak who cosplay as GAIJINs.

Over-tourism is being talked about these days, and we would like to see at least 10% of these GAIJINs to country side.

Also, as an hospitality provider, we would like to monitor this situation in Tokyo and other places and prepare for the near future.

噂の現場2024#4 – ガイジンがいっぱい

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

梅雨の真っ只中というのに、溶けてしまいそうな暑さが続いているニッポン全土です。

ここ関門エリアでは海が近いこともあって３０度前半ですが、東京の内陸部だとヒートアイランド現象も相まってゆうに３５度を超えているようです。

そんな猛暑の東京で、彼らはどう過ごしているのかがとても気になります。

そうガイジン観光客のことが気になって仕方ありません。

窓の外の景色は、、、もちろんスクランブル交差点。渋谷です。

渋谷の街はどこもここもガイジンだらけ！

さらに夜になると日本人は郊外の家に帰ってしまうからか、街の外人比率は８０％以上になってる感じがしました。

大音量のバスの中にもガイジンがいっぱい！きっとパーティ大好きな人たちでしょうか？

センター街もガイジンばかり。ガイジンのコスプレした日本人ハロウィンフリークではなさそうです。

オーバーツーリズムも叫ばれている今日この頃ですが、ここから１０％ででも地方に流れてきて欲しいものです。

またおもてなしする側としても、東京等の状況を見ながら、近い将来に備えたいと考えます。
