What we can see from here are

Kanmon strait of course, various ships (cargo ships, RoRo-Ferry boat and so on, but we don’t see luxury cruise ship lately.)

and wind.

We often see wind from north in late September.

I think we will have comfortable weather in next several days.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

ここ「灯火」にいて、いつも見えるもの。

もちろん関門海峡に、船、、、貨物船やフェリー、、、以前のような豪華客船はめっきり見なくなりました。

風です。

９月も終盤に入り、北の風が吹く日が増えてきました。

しばらくは過ごしやすい気候が続きそうです。

Let’s go to watch the special view only in this season!

In this Kanmon area, there is a special view only in this season.

It is the view from mountain behind our guesthouse.

To be exact, it is not geographical view but the view of hawks in the air, migrating in this season.

But I personally prefer to watch the people who is concentrating to take photos of flying hawks.

The parking space were full of local amateur cameramen’s cars. This is a special popular spot where people in the know knows.

How about watching these people who are besides themselves with taking pictures of hawks.

ここ関門エリア、この季節だからこその光景があります。

それは当宿の裏山にあたる高台から望む光景です。

風景ではなくて、大空を飛ぶ猛禽類 ハチクマの渡りです。

でも、個人的に見ていて面白いのは、鷹の飛ぶ姿を写真に写すためにスタンバっている人たちの姿です。

写真愛好家たちの車で駐車スペースはいっぱい。知る人ぞ知る人気スポットです。

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Followings are from conversation between our guests who stayed here in this summer. They were cooking at kitchen.

“This is very good. I can adjust the power of heater with watching this indicator. I cannot cook with gas heater, because I cannot adjust only with low/medium/high heat from the recipe.”

The guest is a student of tech school.

Because I’ve never had any trouble in cooking no matter gas or IH heater, I could not understand the sense of his comment at first, but now I can feel that of engineer’s character in living after this.

So, even if you are an engineer, you can also cook in our kitchen of TOUKA with no trouble. Please feel free make a reservation of this guesthouse for your self-catering trip.

TOUKA is guesthouse of diversity which can adjust to various type of guests.

デジタル？アナログ？！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。
おはようございます。

この夏に利用された若いゲストさん同士の会話、、、自炊で調理中です。

「これ良いよね。コンロの火力が表示見て調節できるよ。オレ弱火とか中火とか言われてもどれくらいか分からないし、ガスコンロだと料理できないんだよね。」

ゲストさんは理系の大学院生です。

当たり前に料理している自分にはその感覚が分かりませんでしたが、言われてみると分かる気がします。
