Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
On this trip to Tokyo and around the Fuji Five Lakes, I decided to use some accommodations, considering my mother’s disability,
though I usually don’t use accommodations but stay at my Tokyo home or in the car.
*1: Private lodging very close to my daughter’s house. (Medium-sized vacation rental property)
*2: The wedding venue hotel where we arrived the day before and stayed. (Large executive hotel)
*3: A pension located in the villa area of Lake Yamanaka. (Small accommodation facility)
And a spa hotel run by a famous beauty salon.
Although they differ in scale, the first three have something in common.
*1: The first private lodging belongs to a Japanese owner for an asset management business, and a foreign company acted as an intermediary to provide lodging to travelers.
*2: The second hotel in Shirokanedai is a famous hotel built during the period of high economic growth that continues to operate under a franchise agreement with a foreign capital.
*3: The last pension was built by a painter during the bubble period, but is now run by a Chinese host and used as a lodging without meals.
All of the above accommodations were comfortable, but…
Even though there is a lot of buzz about inbound many times, I learned that the flow of money that comes from inbound is going outbound.
Furthermore, the accommodation rates were all at Tokyo prices, and eye-opening level for someone who knows the market prices in the past.

大も、中も、小も、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今回の東京行き、そして富士五湖周遊、普段は自宅や車中泊のために宿泊施設を利用することはありませんが、
母の身体の不自由を考慮して、いくつか宿泊施設を利用することにしました。
＊１：娘の家のすぐ近くの民泊。（中規模バケーションレンタル物件）
＊２：前日入りして宿泊した結婚式場のホテル。（大規模エグゼクティブホテル）
＊３：山中湖の別荘地にあるペンション。（小規模宿泊施設）
そして、某有名エステサロンが手掛けるスパ・ホテル。
規模こそ異なりますが、最初の３つには共通点があります。
それは外資・外国人が運営していること。
＊１：最初の民泊は日本人オーナーの資産運用としての民泊経営を外資が代行して、旅人に宿泊場所を提供するもの仲介するもの。
＊２：二番目の白金台のホテルは、高度成長期に建てられた有名ホテルが、外資とのフランチャイズ契約下で事業を続けているもの。
＊３：最後のペンションはバブル期に画家によって建てられたペンションが、現在は中国人ホストが運営、素泊まり宿として運用されているもの。
上記どの宿泊施設も快適な宿でしたが、、、
インバウンド、インバウンドと騒がれていても、インバウンドが落とすお金の流れはアウトバウンドなんだなぁと学習しました。
尚、宿泊料金はどこも東京プライスとなっていて、以前の相場を知る人間としては目が飛び出るものでした。
