One summer day

The sky, which was filled with summer clouds on Saturday,

changed to a blue summer sky on Sunday, causing our guests to break out in a sweat as they climbed the hill to this guesthouse.

During the day, it was so hot that few people were fishing at the pier.

However, as the sun began to set, a cool breeze started to blow in from the strait,

showing our guests a beautiful evening sky of sparkling clouds.

土曜日に夏の雲だった空は、

日曜日には夏の青空に変わり、宿まで坂を登ってくるゲストさんに大汗を促しています。

昼間、あまりの暑さに堤防で釣りをする人は少ないようです。

それでも陽が傾いてくると、海峡の方から少し涼しい風が吹き始めて、

Where to go? During break in the rainy season

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The weather is a bit strange lately.

The rainy season began a little early in Japan this year, but within two weeks the rain stopped and summer skies and midsummer days all over Japan.

The weather conditions are unclear, but it would be a waste to do nothing with the beautiful summer sky.

For example, the weather in the Kanmon area was good from early in the morning yesterday, with the probability of precipitation being less than 10%.

With gasoline prices still high, why not try taking the train to go once in a while?

Heading east or west from Komorie station, which is dressed in summer attire, the nearest station to this guesthouse.

The destination can be somewhere under the summer sky.

Just like the rain clouds during the rainy season this year, a spontaneous journey might not be so bad after all.

どこ行く？梅雨の中日

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

なんかおかしな天気です。

今年の日本は少し早くに梅雨入りしたかと思うと、２週間もしないうちに雨は止み、夏空・真夏日が訪れています。

よくわからない気象状態ですが、せっかくの夏空に何もしないのはもったいなすぎます。

例えば、昨日の関門エリアは早朝から天気も良くて、降水確率も10%以下。

まだまだガソリン価格も高いので、たまには電車で出かけてみるなんてどうでしょう？

夏の装いの当宿の最寄駅「小森江」から東へ西へ、、、

目的地は夏空の下のどこかへ。

まるで今年の梅雨の雨雲のように、行きあたりばったりの旅も悪くないかもしれません。

のんびり木陰で / Relaxing under the trees

Relaxing under the trees

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Four days later than in the Kanto region, the end of the rainy season has finally been declared here in northern Kyushu this week, and summer has arrived. (However, we still have guerrilla thunderstorms…)

In the Japan islands, the only regions where the rainy season has not ended are the Tohoku and Hokuriku regions.

If we look up at the sky, we can see the summer sky.

Well, where will you go?

We strongly recommend you to go to the beach with a floating ring in hand!

At our guesthouse, if our guests who are staying for several consecutive days are going to the beach, we will lend them free of charge things such as floating rings and chairs that are good for relaxing in the shade of trees.

(You can choose from small and light ones, or slightly larger but comfortable ones.

We would definitely want you to experience the white sand beaches of Kitakyushu or Sanin.

のんびり木陰で

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

関東地方に遅れること４日、今週ようやくここ九州北部も梅雨明けが宣言され、夏到来です。（といってもゲリラ雷雨ありますが、、、）

日本列島、梅雨明けしていないのは東北と北陸地方だけになりました。

空を見上げれば夏空です。

さぁ、どこに行きますか？

やっぱり浮き輪を片手に海へゴー！でしょう。

当宿では、連泊中日のゲストさんが海に行かれる場合には、浮き輪や木陰でのんびりするのに良いチェアなど無料で貸し出します。（小さくて軽いもの、少し大きいけどくつろげるもの等から選べます。）

是非とも、北九州や山陰の白砂ビーチを体験してもらいたいですね。
