Diversity of sightseeing advice
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Our guesthouse, TOUKA, has been providing our guests with unpopular but good spots and behind-the-scenes information and seasonal information about spots that are not listed in guidebooks based on local residents’ experiences.
This time, I wanted to go beyond the confines of “sightseeing” and expand the number of our listed spots, so I went to have a preview of this place!
To be honest, it’s the first time I’ve been there in my life.
(To be more specific, I do remember that when I was a new employee at a company who had just entered the workforce, I was taken to an “off-track betting booth” as a stop on a incentive tour of the workplace. What a company, even though it was during the bubble era!?)
About the racetrack, but aside from the horses, I was surprised to see so many people at the racetrack that I had never interacted with before
However, the facility was much cleaner than I had imagined, and I was confident that guests from overseas would also be pleased with it. There were also more women than expected.
The restrooms were also clean. Although I wasn’t able to see it, there seems to be a powder rooms for women as well.
In addition, I think that we can also advise our guests to try speciality foods and drinks during the tour.
I will continue to explore this deep na spot that is typical of Kitakyushu.

観光アドバイスの多様性
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
かねてより、ガイドブック等に載っていないスポットや、載っていてもそのスポットについての裏情報・季節情報などをゲストさんたちに提供している当宿「灯火」です。
今回、「観光」という枠を超え、対象スポットを拡大しようと考えて、下見に行ったのがココ！
正直に言うと、行ったのは人生で初めてです。
（細かいことをいうと、社会人になったばかりのある企業の新人時代に慰安旅行の立ち寄り先として「場外馬券場」につれていってもらった記憶はあります。バブルの頃の話とはいえ、なんという会社でしょう！？）
競馬場ですが、馬はさておき、その場内には、これまであまり交わったことのないタイプの人たちが大勢いて驚きました。
それでも、施設は想像していたよりもずっと綺麗で、海外からのゲストにも喜ばれるだろうと確信しました。女性利用者も思いの外多かったです。
トイレも綺麗でした。見ることはできませんでしたが、女性用にはパウダールームもあるようです。
で、見学途中には、鉄板メニューも味わうなど、きっと喜ばれるだろうと確信しました。
ある意味、北九州らしいディーブナスポット、これからも探索して参ります。
