Half a day to a day earlier, and about 30 minutes later

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Heavy rain appears to have rushed from west to east in Japan on Tuesday.

Here at Kanmon, the rain stopped before noon, and blue skies appeared in the afternoon.

Compared to Tokyo, we actually feel that the weather here is half a day to a day earlier.

The blue sky turned into a beautiful sunset in the evening, and even though we had strong sunshine from west, we were able to enjoy a refreshing evening thanks to the cool breeze after the cold front had passed.

The slope in front of our guesthouse was illuminated by the setting sun, and it shone like a “path of light.”

Sunset here was 19:20 as of yesterday. The sunset here is about 30 minutes later than in Tokyo, so I feel like I’m getting big advantage every day.

Since there are individual differences in values, it is difficult to say which one is better.

What do you think of these differences in weather/climate and daylight hours?

半日〜１日早くて、約３０分遅い

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

火曜日の日本では、豪雨が西から東へ駆け抜けたようですが、、、

ここ関門ではお昼前には雨は上がり、午後には青空が見えていました。

東京と比べると、当地の天気は半日〜１日早いというのが実感覚です。

その青空は夕方には美しい夕陽に変わり、西日なのに前線通過後の爽やかな風のおかげで、清々しい夕刻を楽しめました。

そしてその夕陽に照らされた当宿の前の坂は、まるで「ひかりの道」のように輝いていました。

当地の日没は昨日時点で19:20。こちらの日没は東京と比べると約３０分遅く、毎日得している気分です。

価値観には個人差があるので、一概にどちらが良いとは言えませんが、、、

こうした天気・気候や日照時間の違い、いかがでしょうか？
