Tonight again…

Lately, we have had more opportunities to see guests off from the windows of this guesthouse.

We had say about 30% of our guests use the ferry for round-trip or one-way trips.

If we also consider guests visiting Kitakyushu by the flights to/from Fukuoka, that percentage would probably be around 40%.

We feel it’s about time to resume direct flights, but are those responsible for operating them aware of the current situation?

The host is also craving authentic 돼지국밥 (pork soup) and bunch of 반찬 (side dishes) after a long time.

今夜もまた、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

ここのところ、宿の窓からゲストさんをお見送るする機会が増えています。

当宿をご利用されるゲストさんの３割ほどが往復、もしくは片道で利用されている感覚です。

福岡便の飛行機で北九州入りするゲストさんまで考慮すると、その割合は４割ほどになるでしょう。

そろそろ直行便を再開する時期だろうと実感しますが、運行する当事者は現状に気づかれているでしょうか？

宿主も久しぶりに本場のテジクッパと山ほどのバンチャンが食べたくなっています。

それでは、世の中のニーズを的確に掴んで素敵な一日を！

Direct flights between Kitakyushu and Busan have been suspended for a long time, so…

we’re seeing an increase in these kinds of farewells.

As I watched the ship leave, the song playing in my head was “Cho Yongpil (=Eternal Oppa)”!

When I was watching our guest left like that, I got a message on my smartphone!

A guest sent me a picture of our? lighthouse.

Perhaps the image is blurred by tears of farewell?

For the sake of our guests who have vowed to visit here again, we hope that direct flights between Busan and Kitakyushu will be resumed soon.

According to the guest, the relatively recent Cheongju-Kitakyushu flight was fully booked and she couldn’t get a reservation, so she decided to take the ferry, so I think the flight might be enough profitable soon…

We hope that the airport and airlines will do their best to consider this and make it a reality.

トラワヨ 시모노세키항 エ 〜 下関港へ帰れ

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

なかなか北九州ー釜山の直行便が再就航せずに長く運休？中なので、、、

こうしたお見送りが増えています。

去っていく船を見ながら、頭の中に流れている曲は영원한 오빠（永遠のオッパ）！

そんなふうに見送っていたらスマートフォンに着信が！

ゲストさんからウチ？の灯台の画像が送られてきました。

もしかして別れの涙で画像が滲んでるのかな？

まぁ、これはこれでなんとも当宿「灯火」らしいお見送りだと思いますが、、、

再会を誓うゲストさんのためにも、釜山ー北九州の直行便、早く再就航してもらいたいものです。

ゲストさんによると比較的最近就航した清州（チョンジュ）ー北九州便の飛行機は満席で予約が取れず、今回フェリーにしたとのことで、そろそろ採算的にもイケるのではと思いますが、、、

空港とエアラインに頑張って検討〜実現をお願いしたいところです。

ありがたい乗り物 / Thankful vessel

Thankful vessel

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It’s been a while since the COVID-19 pandemic subsided, but…

There are still some things that haven’t been resumed.

It’s a direct flight between Busan and Kitakyushu.

Compared to pre-COVID times, the number of guests coming from the northern part of our neighboring country has recovered significantly…

However, the number of guests coming from the southern part of the country is still stagnating.

In such situation, here is what has been working hard to transport our guests over the past few years!

Just last week, I somehow managed to wake up early and watch the ferry’s brave appearance as it arrived carrying guests.

We hope that regular flights will also return to Kitakyushu Airport.

ありがたい乗り物

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

新型コロナウイルスの感染が収束してから、ずいぶん経ちますが、、、

未だ復旧していないものがあります。

それは釜山・北九州間の直行便。

コロナ前と比較すると、お隣の国の北部からいらっしゃるゲストさんはずいぶんと回復したものの、、、

同南部からいらっしゃるゲストさんの数は未だ伸び悩んでいます。

そんな中、ここ数年がんばってゲストさんを運んでくれているのがこちら！

つい先週もありがたくも不思議と早起きしてしまい、ゲストさんを乗せてやって来る勇姿をここから眺めていました。

飛行機の定期便も北九州空港へ帰ってきて欲しいものです。
