Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The festival was held in our port town this weekend.
It was the largest event in this area, so I remember looking forward to it a lot as a child.
As foreign tourists often do not know about seasonal events in the place they are visiting,
we recommended to our guests that there would be many food stalls selling food that foreigners might be interested in.
Prioritizing their visit to the fish market across the river, they first went for a stroll around the port town to try the local curry, they said.
When I asked his who were with him, I found out that their real goal was to find “Miss Moji (apparently it’s now called Minato Ambassador).”
Since they checked out and returned home right away, I couldn’t get to hear how it was, but I hope they had a good time.

目のつけどころが、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この週末に開催されたわが港町のお祭り。
地域一番の規模なので子供の頃はとても楽しみにしていた記憶があります。
旅先での季節柄のイベントなどは外国人旅行客は知らないことが多いので、
せっかくだからと、外国人が興味を示しそうな食べ物の露店も出るよとゲストさんにオススメしたら、、、
対岸の魚市場より優先して、まず港町の方を散策してご当地カレーを試してみると言って出て行きました。
連れのお仲間に聞くと、本当の狙いは「ミス門司(今ではみなとアンバサダーと呼ぶらしい）」らしいです。
そのままチェックアウトしての帰国となってしまったので、どうだったか感想は聞けませんでしたが、、、
楽しい時間を過ごせたとしたら良いですね。
