At our port town

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

It seems like the heavy rain has finally stopped, and we are wondering if the flowers have fallen off, as of today, Thursday.

The flowers were just about to full-bloom before the rain, so we wonder if they were able to survive without falling apart?

We didn’t know what the weather would be like in the future, so we went around our port town on Monday.

On weekdays in the first week of April, when the fiscal year started, the town was quiet as there were not many Japanese people.

By the way, the very best Sakura’s background must be “blue sky” after all.

We pray that the cherry blossoms will survive this rain and that the blue skies will return on Friday and Saturday.

港町にて

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

激しかった雨もようやく止んだようで、花散らしの雨となってしまったかが気になる本日 木曜日です。

雨降り前には満開直前の花だったので、散らずに耐えられたかな？

こんな風に先の天気がどうなるか分からなかったので、月曜日に港町を回ってみました。

年度始まりの４月第一週目の平日は、さすがに日本人が少ない分、町は静かでした。

ところで、、、やっぱりさくらのバックには「青空」ですよね。

桜の花が今回の雨を耐えて残り、金曜・土曜と青空が戻ってくることを祈って、、、
