We heard that the Kansai Expo ended yesterday.
During the event, the host passed through Osaka city about four times, but ultimately did not go to the Expo.
There were not a few people around me who have gone to the Expo from the Kansai region, but we haven’t heard of many from other regions.
Nevertheless, it is impressive that it was frequently reported yesterday that the event is likely to be profitable.

The Expo will end with a surplus… but what about Tokyo 2020?
It seems that the Olympics ended up with a deficit, and although it is difficult to find out the extent of the deficit, due to the various pieces of information and perspectives, but it seems certain that it was a very large amount.
We haven’t heard much discussion about that deficit since then, so we wonder what happened to it.
Another thing I’m curious about, as a fellow professional, is how Osaka’s private lodging special zone, which has seen deregulation in preparation for the Expo, will be handled.

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
昨日で関西万博が閉幕したそうですね。
開催期間中、宿主は４度ほど大阪市を通過しましたが、結局万博には行きませんでした。
身の回りで万博に行った人は、関西圏の人は少なからずいますが、それ以外の地域からはあまり行ったという話は聞きませんでした。
それでも開催に際しての収支は黒字になりそうだと頻繁に報道されているのが印象的です。

万博は黒字、、、ではTOKYO 2020は？
どうもオリンピックは収支的には赤字だったようなのですが、その赤字規模がさまざまな情報・切り口でとてもわかりにくく、それでも相当な額になったことだけは間違いないようです。
その赤字って、その後あまり議論されているのを聞きませんがどうなったんでしょうね。
併せて気になるのが、万博に向けて規制緩和された大阪の民泊特区の扱いがどうなるんだろう、と同業者の立場で注目しています。
