The sky above the Kanmon area on Friday…
It was hazy, as if covered in mist.
According to the weather forecast, this situation seems to be a “spring haze.”
Is it spring? So I checked the outside temperature…
and it was the warmest it’s been in a while.
It’s slowly getting closer to spring, isn’t it?
Talking about the weather is often a good icebreaker with our guests, so the host try to talk about the latest weather forecast using Japanese traditional weather expressions.
Spring haze…it’s a rather stylish and tasteful way to describe the weather.

次第に、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
金曜日の関門エリアの空は、、、
なんか靄（もや）がかかったようにぼんやり状態。
天気予報を見ると、この状況はどうも「春霞（はるがすみ）」らしいのです。
春？というわけで外気温を見てみると、、、
ここ最近では一番暖かくなっていました。
少しづつ春に向かっているんですね。
天気の話題はゲストさん達とのアイスブレイカーになることが多いので、宿主は少しでも直近のお天気を日本語のお天気表現を交えて会話するように心がけています。
