Common behavior of Tokyo people?!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
While I was waiting for guests to check in, I was sorting through images from last month’s travel to Tokyo.
This trip to Tokyo was a trip that made me realize more than ever.
This time I (finally) went to a very popular tourist spot for the first time. Though Shibuya’s Sky Deck is more popular now…
I wasn’t that interested when I lived in Tokyo, but
I made the decision because my elderly mother was with me this time and I thought it would be a good idea to go up there once in case I need to talk to guests about Tokyo sightseeing in the future.
If I still live in Tokyo, I feel like I never go there even though I can go there anytime. With paying more than 3,000 yen just for the view.
Anyway, I was surprised to see that there were way more foreign tourists than I imagined, and that many Japanese people also climbed the mountain. Even though it was a weekday…
More than just the scenery, I found myself thinking about how I promote the foreign tourists on this observation deck to come to the Kitakyushu/Kanmon area.

P.S. Actually, I prefer the view here, and I’m surprised that there are so many people sleeping on the plane even though they can see such a wonderful view.

東京人あるある？！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ゲストさんのチェックイン待ちの時間に先月の東京行きの画像を整理していました。
今回の東京行きはいつにも増して気付きの多い旅でした。
旅の中で今回初めて（ようやく）人気の観光スポットに行ってみました。今や渋谷のスカイデッキの方が人気なのに、、、
東京にいる時にはそれほど興味もなかったのですが、
今回は年老いた母が一緒だということと、今後東京の話題でゲストと話す時のために一度登っておいた方がいいかなと思っての決断でした。
東京に住んでいたら、いつでも行けるからと決して行かない気がします。それも景色のために3,000円以上払って。
それにしても、外国人観光客が想像以上に多いこと、日本人も大勢が登るんだなぁと驚かされました。平日だというのに、、、
景色よりも、この展望デッキにいる外国人観光客に北九州・関門エリアにまで来てほしいなぁとそればかり考える自分がそこにいました。
それでは、1千４百万人を見下ろす素敵な一日を！
P.S. 実際、自分はこちらの景色の方が好きで、こんな素晴らしい景色が見れるのに機内には寝てる人が多いことに驚いています。
