Golden Week at this guesthouse

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

During Golden Week this year in 2024, the weather here in the Kanmon area was generally good.

As I finished personal trip before Golden Week and we had a guest who was staying here for work during Golden Week, so I decided to spend some time here without going out.

However, since the weather was so nice and a baseball game was being broadcast before noon, I decided to light up the grill to watch the game in an American way.

Of course, I support…

Braves representing state of Georgia, where I used to live.

Unfortunately, Braves lost the game, but the opponent’s number 17 in the blue uniform played an active role, so I was happy and able to enjoy myself to the fullest.

By the time I was stoked up with beer and American hamburgers, I fully enjoyed Golden Week in this straits town while looking down the GENPEI Boat Battle, which can be said to be the origin of the red and white fighting in UNDOKAI (school athletic meet).

ゲストハウスのゴールデンウィーク

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

本年2024年のゴールデンウィーク中、ここ関門エリアはおおむね良い天気でした。

個人的な旅行はGW前に終えていたし、GW中はお仕事でいらっしゃっていたゲストさんが滞在されていたので、宿主は特に出かけることもせず、ここでゆっくりと過ごそうと決めてのぞみました。

けれども、あまりに天気が良いのと、昼前から野球中継をしていたので、アメリカンな気分で観戦しようとグリルに火をつけたのでした。

応援するのは、もちろん、、、

以前住んでいたジョージアを代表するブレーブス！

残念ながら負けてしまいましたが、相手の青いユニフォームの17番が活躍していたので十分楽しむことが出来ました。

ビールとハンバーガーで出来上がる頃には、眼下の海峡で、運動会の赤白の起源ともいえる源平舟合戦が繰り広げられているのを横目に、海峡のゴールデンウィークを満喫しました。

それでは、家にいながらにして、アメリカンでアウトドアな素敵な一日を！
