The Udon in this town is worth to eat!
Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
As a host, I want to introduce our guests, who have come all the way from far away, to experiences that can only be had here and great gourmet food that can only be eaten here.
This time, I went to check out the restaurants featured on a local TV show to see if they were worthy of being introduced to our guests.
The restaurant in question is…
According to a TV program, it’s so popular that people line up as early as 6am before it even opens!

The restaurant’s most popular menu item is… UDON noodle.
The food on the screen looked delicious, so I went to try it.
According to the program, the line would start at 6:00,
but when I arrived at 7:30, there was no one waiting in front of the small restaurant.
Perhaps it was after the initial rush of customers had passed.
I could get a seat inside the small restaurant.
After I ordered, it was served while I was picking up the free self-service side dishes.
Yes, this is the much talked about “Meat Udon (Medium)”!
It was a delicious dish with soft, juicy meat in a mild broth.
While I was slowly enjoying my meal, one after the other, people in uniforms who looked like blue colored workers kept coming into the restaurant.
However…
900 yen for a bowl of udon is a bit outside the host’s concept of udon!
I really felt that my hometown’s meat udon was a better fit for my tongue, stomach, and wallet.
Because, meatless udon with meat rice costs only 600 yen… (last photo)!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
はるばるやって来たゲストさんたちにここでしかできない経験、ここでしか食べられないお得グルメを紹介したい宿主です。
今回はローカルなテレビ番組で紹介されたお店がゲストさんに紹介するに値するか確かめに行ってきました。
そのお店とは、、、
テレビ番組によると開店前、朝の６時から行列ができるという人気店！

そしてそのお店の人気メニューが、、、「うどん」。
画面に映し出された姿が美味しそうだったので、実際に食べに行ってきました。
番組によると６時から行列とのことでしたが、７時半に到着した時には店先に並んでいる人はいませんでした。
第一陣の混雑が過ぎた後だったのかもしれません。
すんなりと小さな店内の席につくことができました。
注文して、無料セルフサービスの付け合わせを小皿にとっている間に提供されました。
そう、これが噂の「にくうどん（中）」！
やさしいお出汁に、やわらかジューシーなお肉が乗った美味しい一品でした。
自分がゆっくり味わっている間も、お店には肉体労働者と思しめきユニフォーム姿の人々が次から次へと入店されていました。
でも、、、
うどん１杯に900円は、ちょっと宿主が持つうどん概念の想定外！
やっぱりわがまちの肉うどんの方が、舌と胃袋と財布に合っているなぁとつくづく感じました。
だって、肉なしうどんに肉ごはんをつけて600円だもの、、、（最後の画像）！
