Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
Today is New Year’s Eve, and this marks the 10th New Year’s Eve that this guesthouse, TOUKA, has celebrated.
While welcoming the guests who stayed with us this week, I noticed…
the buddy, who has always been bright in welcoming our guests, was looking quite worn out.
It seems to have become quite worn out, probably because it has been illuminating the entrance to this guesthouse for years, despite the wind and rain.
We’ll have to give it a good repair by the new year, won’t we?

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
今日は大晦日、当宿「灯火」が迎える１０回目の年越しです。
今週滞在いただいたゲストさんを迎える中で気付いたのが、、、
ともにゲストを明るく迎え続けてきた相棒のくたびれ具合。
雨風に負けず、ずっと宿の玄関を照らし続けてきたせいか、随分痛んでしまったようです。
年明けにはきれいに修繕してあげないといけませんね。
