What a shame for the Japanese!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Yesterday, March 11th, was “Day of Prayer” for the host.

I thought of the places I’ve visited many times as a volunteer and the people I’ve met there, and at the same time, I reflected with awe on the “power of nature” that is unique to this country.

This is the place that the host has felt a strong aversion to since the end of last year.

The picture was taken at the end of last year, but it’s a place he consistently visits at least twice a year.

The waves weren’t good that day, so I only took photos for my surf log, but

this favorite spot has been trending since the end of last year (in a bad way).

This is an issue that quite a few Japanese people are familiar with.

Yes, this is a nuclear power plant in the central Japan region.

Not only does this fail to reflect on the irreversible state of Fukushima 15 years ago,

but what’s even more problematic is that it doesn’t take into account or respect the geographical risks that are unique to the area.

Since the great earthquake 15 years ago, seawalls and tsunami evacuation towers have been constructed in this area in anticipation of the next predicted major Nankai Trough earthquake, and the area is located right in the middle of an area where a high risk of tsunamis is expected.

Nevertheless, is the earthquake data being deliberately underestimated?

It is really unbelievable!

In Japan, U-turns and I-turns from cities are popular, but personally I would recommend U-turns and I-turns from areas around the country where nuclear power plants are located.

They are restarting nuclear power plants even though the final disposal of nuclear waste has not been decided…what on earth are they planning to do?

As I try to guess the age of the gray-haired TEPCO executives who have appeared on television these past few days, I can’t help but feel that they probably don’t care about what will happen after his own lifespan.

ほんとに残念なにっぽん人！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

昨日 ３月１１日は、宿主にとって「祈りの日」。

かつてボランティアで何度も訪れた場所やそこでお会いした人たちのことを想い、同時に畏怖の念を抱きながらこの国特有の「自然の力」について思いを馳せました。

そんな宿主が昨年末から強い嫌悪の感情を抱いているのがこの場所。

撮影したのは昨年末ですが、コンスタントに年に２度は訪れる場所です。

この日は波が良くなかったので、記録のために撮影だけしたものですが、

そんなお気に入りのスポットが昨年末から話題にのぼっているんです（悪い意味で）。

この話題、日本人なら結構な人が知っている問題です。

そう、ココはとある中部地方の原子力発電所。

15年前に取り返しのつかない状態になってしまった福島の反省に立っていないだけでなく、

さらに問題なのが、その立地ゆえに特有の地理的リスクも全く考慮・配慮されていないことです。

この地域では１５年前の大震災後から、次に起こるであろうと予測されている南海トラフ大地震を想定して、防潮堤や「津波避難タワー」が続々と建設されてきた、高い津波リスクが想定されているそんな地域のど真ん中です。

それなのに、、地震データの意図的な過小評価？！

ほんとうに信じられません！

日本では都会からのUターン・Iターンが人気ですが、個人的には全国の原発立地地域からのUターン・Iターンをオススメしたいです。

核の最終処分のことも決まってないのに原子力発電所の再稼働、、、いったいどうするつもりだろ？

ここ数日テレビに映る白髪の東電責任者の年齢を推測しながら、きっと自分の寿命の後のことなんて考えていないんだろうな、と感じざるを得ません。
