Good private lodging, bad private lodging

Recently, Japanese mass media has frequently reported on the problems caused by low-quality private lodgings.
This guesthouse, TOUKA, is not a private lodging, but a lodging facility as defined by the Inns and Hotels Act. However, since we are used by guests through a booking site that mainly lists private lodgings, we are very interested in the domestic evaluation of private lodgings.
On this trip to Nagasaki, I used a private lodging facility as a base of operations. I was very satisfied with the location and facilities, and although I didn’t have any direct contact with the host, I felt it was a very good private lodging.

Once you experience the benefits of small-scale accommodation, I believe you will not stay in larger facilities unless it is absolutely necessary.
In fact, many of our guests feel the same way.
The only way to distinguish the quality of private lodgings / small-scale accommodations and to avoid trouble with them is that the “guests” and the “local residents themselves”, who will be affected, use their five senses and even their sixth sense, to make judgments and action before anything happens.
In conclusion, the criterion for judgment is ultimately “person/people.”
(It’s the same as the incidents and crimes that are currently causing a stir in Japan.)

民泊の問題が取り沙汰されていますが、、、
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
ここ最近、日本のマスメディアは、質の悪い民泊により生じている問題を頻繁に報じています。
当宿「灯火」は、民泊ではなく、旅館法に定める宿泊施設ですが、あらゆる面から民泊をメインに掲載している予約サイトを通じてゲストさんにご利用いただいているので、国内の民泊評価は非常に気になるところです。
今回の長崎旅では、活動の拠点として、ある民泊施設を利用しましたが、ロケーション・施設面について満足度が非常に高かったことから、ホストさんとの直接対話などはありませんでしたが、とてもよい民泊だと感じました。

一度、小規模の宿泊施設の良さに触れてしまうと、大型施設にはよっぽどのことがないと泊まることはないと宿主は考えています。
実際に当宿のゲストさんにはそう考えている方も少なくありません。
その民泊・小規模の宿泊施設の良し悪しを見分けたり、トラブルを避ける術は、「宿泊利用者」そして影響を受けるであろう「近隣住民自身」が五感、そして第六感まで駆使して、事が起こる前に判断・対応するしかありません。
結論として言えるのは、判断基準はやっぱり「人（ひと）」だということでしょうか。
（今、日本を騒がせている事件や犯罪と同じですね。）
