Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
This summer, one of the largest tornadoes in Japan’s recorded history struck the town, leaving extensive damage.
But tornadoes weren’t the only thing that hit the town this summer.
A facility that’s nice to have in town has also opened there.
The last time I traveled between the two bases, it hadn’t been completed yet, and there were signs announcing it lined up along the prefectural road, which made me very interested.
I’m really envious of this facility, as it doesn’t exist in our town.
It seems that the facility was closed for a few days after the tornado, but there did not appear to be any direct damage from the tornado there.
When I visited, there were many people using the facility and it was full of energy.
Yes, that’s a roadside station…
It’s generally believed that this doesn’t exist in cities, but there are areas in our town that wouldn’t be classified as very urban, and we’d like to see this tried to bring some vitality to those areas.
After visiting roadside stations all over Japan, we see that they are interesting facilities whose popularity is clearly influenced by the enthusiasm and sense of those who run them.
If it were to open in my town, I’m sure it would be an extremely popular spot.
Because there are plenty of young minded and motivated people with great business sense, both in local government and the private sector.

おいらの町にも欲しいアレ！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この夏、国内の統計史上最大級の竜巻が襲来し大きな被害を残した町。
その町に、この夏来たものは竜巻だけではありません。
町にあるとちょっとうれしい施設もオープンしたんです。
前回の二拠点行き来の際には、まだ出来ていなくて、県道沿いに告知の看板が並んでいたので、とても興味が持っていました。
おいらの町にはないので、すごく羨ましい施設です。
竜巻の後、数日だけ営業を見合わせたようですが、ここには竜巻の直接的な被害はないようでした。
自分が訪問した時も、多くの人が利用していて、活気に満ちていました。
そう「道の駅」、、、
都会にはないのが一般的な認識ですが、おいらの町にはとても都会的だとは分類されないエリアもあり、そうした場所に活気づくりをするのにこれにトライしてもらいたいですね。
全国各地の道の駅を巡ってみると、運営する側のやる気とセンスがモロ出る面白い施設だとわかります。
おいらの町に出来るとしたら、きっと超人気スポットになることでしょう。
なぜなら、やる気とビジネスセンスが光る若い人材が役所にも民間にも溢れているからです。
