Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
The sky above Kanmon area this weekend has turned completely wintery…
Every time I look at the thermometer, the temperature kept dropping.
So, what will the weather be like today?
I can’t help but feel that the clouds are looking ominous.
It’s not just the weather that is looking ominous. But I can’t help but feel that dark clouds are gathering over the outcome of the House of Representatives general election.
Is this feeling like deja vu?
It’s very similar to the anxiety I felt towards the end of the general election when the Democratic Party took power.
It is somehow similar to the situation where we can do nothing but watch as the declining birthrate and global warming continue unabated.
Democracy may actually be a very scary system.

怪しい雲行き
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
この週末の関門エリアの空は、うって変わって冬の空、、、
温度計を見るたびに気温も下がっています。
さぁ、今日の天気はどうなるでしょう。
怪しい雲行きを感じずにはいられません。
怪しい雲行きは天気だけでなく、衆院総選挙の行方にも暗雲が立ち込めている気がして仕方ありません。
この気持ち、なんかデジャヴ？
民主党が政権を取った時の総選挙の終盤に感じた不安にとても似ています。
少子化や地球温暖化に歯止めがかからない状況に為す術もなく、ただ見守るしかできない状況にもどこか似ています。
民主主義って本当はとっても怖い仕組みなのかもしれませんね。
