As I was about to go out to buy groceries, I happened to look up and…
I found cherry blossoms in full bloom against the backdrop of the blue sky, beyond the houses of our neighbors.
Taking a short walk there, I came across one cherry tree with quite beautiful branches.
It looked quite stunning against the backdrop of the blue sky and the sparkling blue strait.
This is probably the closest “Somei Yoshino” cherry tree to this guesthouse.
And the weather forecast for today is rain from this afternoon.
Today might be the last day of the cherry blossom season this year, 2026.

今日でぇ、お別れね〜
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
買い出しに出かけようと、ふと見上げると、、、
青空をバックに、ご近所の家々の向こうに満開の桜の花。
ちょっとそこまで散歩してみると、結構枝ぶりの良い桜の木。
青空や青く輝く海峡をバックに結構映える桜です。
おそらく、当宿から一番近い「ソメイヨシノ」ではないでしょうか。
そして、今日の天気は午後から雨。
本年2026年の桜のシーズンも今日が最後になるかもしれませんね。
それでは、きれいな花を心に焼き付ける素敵な一日を！
