Be careful when you reach at the age!

Actually, I can say this now…
I was sick for about three weeks in the first half of October.
Everything was fine till I was admiring Mount Fuji at my favorite spot, but…
Around the day after I left there and arrived in Tokyo, I was hit with a severe pain in my solar plexus for no apparent reason.
As some of my classmates had passed away earlier, I felt worry and went to a hospital in Tokyo the next day…
I was diagnosed with “shingles”.
After that, due to a doctor’s misunderstanding, I endured a painful week with only medication but no painkillers.
Even after I started receiving painkillers, the pain never completely subsided, and I suffered in Tokyo for a total of three weeks.
I originally planned to stay in Tokyo for two weeks, but I ended up extending it to three weeks and spending most of the time in bed.
The pain is unique and changes over time.
By the third week, I was able to manage the pain as long as I took painkillers, so I decided to return to Kyushu at that time and managed to make it in time for the check-in of the guests who had booked already.
While I was in Tokyo, I had a feeling that the pain would last for a while, so I asked the doctor for a month’s worth of painkillers, and I’m still taking them to this day.
Shingles is more likely to occur after the age of 50, so anyone has the opportunity to get it.
My advice as someone who has experienced this pain is that if you are of an age where you still haven’t made any preparations, you should get ready.
You can learn about the symptoms and countermeasures early on so that you can seek early diagnosis and treatment, or you can get vaccinated to prevent contracting the disease from the get-go… I wholeheartedly recommend that you make some kind of advance preparation.

お年頃にご用心！
世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
実は、今だから言えるんですが、、、
１０月前半は３週間ほどずっと病んでいました。
お気に入りの場所で富士山を愛でていた時は良かったんですが、、、
そこを出発して東京に着いた翌日あたりから、みぞおちのあたりが原因不明の重い痛みに襲われたんです。
早くに逝ってしまった同級生もいることから心配になって、その翌日に都内の病院に行ったところ、、、
なんと、「帯状疱疹」だと診断されてしまいました。
そこから手違いで、治療薬だけ、痛み止めは無しの苦しい一週間を味わい、
痛み止めをもらうようになっても痛みは完全に引くことはなく、トータル三週間ほど東京で苦しんでいました。
当初、東京滞在二週間の予定を、延長して三週間ずっとほとんどベッドの上で過ごす羽目になってしまいました。
その痛みは独特のもので、加えて時間の経過とともに痛みの種類が変わってきます。
三週間目に入って痛み止めさえ飲んでいれば、どうにかなるようになってきたので、そのタイミングで九州に戻ることにして、宿泊予約をいただいていたゲストさんのチェックインにはなんとか間に合うことが出来ました。
東京にいた時点から痛みが長引きそうな予感があったので、頼んで一月分の痛み止めを出してもらい、実は今なお飲み続けています。
５０歳を過ぎると発症しやすくなるそうで、その可能性は誰もが持つそうです。
この痛みを経験した者からのアドバイスとしては、お年頃になってもまだ何も準備していない人は、しっかり準備するべきだということです。
早くに症状や対策を調べ早期診療・治療に励むことができるように学ぶもよし、鼻っから病気にかからないように予防接種をうけるもよし、、、なにかしら事前準備をしておくことを、心から強く勧めます。
それでは、備えあっても痛みは続くので、しっかり対策まで考えておく素敵な一日を！
