Good morning to the World and Kanmon!
During the three-day weekend in March…
After a lively chatting with our guest about the sustainability of Kitakyushu’s efforts to attract sports events,
I went to watch an event where that guest was serving as a staff member.
(The keyword is… Free admission!)
The weather was absolutely perfect for the sport, with clear skies, and I was able to enjoy watching the games more than I expected.
Perhaps because admission was free, there were many families at the stadium, and although there were noticeable empty seats, the atmosphere was still quite lively and exciting.
According to the guest, this event was held in the snow last year, but this year the players were playing energetically under a clear sky, and it was invigorating to watch.
I really hope this event continues here, so that it doesn’t end up like that world championship that was canceled in Kitakyushu (and moved to another country).

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。
三月の連休、、、
ゲストさんと北九州のスポーツ・イベント誘致の継続性について盛り上がったことをきっかけに、
そのゲストさんが大会スタッフを務めるとあるイベントを観戦に行ってきました。
（キーワードは、、、入場無料！）
お天気はまさにそのスポーツ日和という快晴で、おもいのほか観戦を楽しむことが出来ました。
入場無料のせいか、会場には家族連れも多くいらっしゃっていて、空席は目立ちましたが、それなりに盛り上がっていました。
ゲストさんによるとこちらのイベント、昨年は雪の中での開催だったそうですが、今年は晴天の下で選手たちは活き活きとプレーしていて、見ているこちらも元気をもらうことができました。
かつて、北九州での開催が中止（他の国へ開催地変更）になった、世界大会のようにならないように、この大会は是非ともこちらで継続してもらいたいですね。
