Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

“The 20th anniversary ceremony” was held in my hometown, Kitakyushu, on Sunday.

It seems that the venue has changed this year…

Guest of our guesthouse went to watch the ceremony and it seemed like it was a feast for his eyes as well.

Since he returned late that day, he told me about his experience and impressions the next day.

I am really happy that local young people are getting attention like this.

Since this is such a great opportunity, I feel like it would be nice if the stage could be set for the main characters to come to the forefront a little more.

In this country, in this city, where the future is difficult to predict…

We wish them all the best in their future!

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

日曜日に開催された我が故郷、北九州市の「二十歳の記念式典」。

今年から会場も変わったようですが、、、

当宿のゲストさんが見学に行って、ゲストさんの目も楽しませてくれたようです。

当日は遅いお戻りだったので、翌日になってその様子・感想を話してくれました。

こんな風に地元の若者たちが注目されることを心からうれしく思います。

せっかくの機会なので、もう少し主役たちが前面に出れる舞台が整うと良いのになぁと感じます。

先の見えにくい、この国、この街にあって、、、

彼らの未来に幸多からんことを！

Walking around the castle

In the afternoon of midwinter, although the wind was cold, the weather was nice, so I decided to take a walk around the castle.

The castle was reflected in the last autumn leaves and it was a nice feast for the eyes.

In these times, I was able to get some good souvenirs for free that are essential to our guesthouse, so it was a nice walk.

「お城お散歩」

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

真冬の昼下がり、風は冷たいけれど、天気は良かったので、お城の周りを散策してみました。

When I order one dish for 1000JPY

I am a host who is seriously looking for a restaurant here in my hometown that I would like to visit once a month or once every two months.

Finally, I found it!

I visited there during lunch time, and I chose one item from the menu, sword-shaved noodles, which I had never eaten since returning here.

At first, I thought the price of 1000JPY might be a little expensive for a bowl of Chinese noodle.

it comes with an all-you-can-eat buffet of side dishes of unbelievable quality.

I really liked the yakisoba, which had flavors that I can’t get at ordinary Chinese restaurants in town, and juicy fried chicken very much.

In the end, I got another plate of side dishes and had free coffee after the meal, making it a very satisfying lunch.

Yes, I found a restaurant/cuisine that I want to go to once a month!

I learned this from a local TV program. We have to have high antennas and be sensitive to all kinds of information, right?

月一、ふた月に一度、通いたくなるようなお店をここホームタウンで真剣に探している宿主です。

ようやく、そしてやっとのことで見つけました！

ランチの時間に訪ねたのですが、そのメニューから一品、自分はこちらに戻ってからは食べたことのなかった刀削麺を選びました。

中華の麺類として、その価格1000円はちょっと高いかもと思いましたが、

信じられないクオリティの副菜のビュッフェ（バイキング）、それも食べ放題が付いてくるんです。

自分は町中華では食べられない味の焼きそばと唐揚げがとても気に入りました。

結局、副菜もお代わりして、食後には無料のコーヒーもいただき満足すぎるランチとなりました。
