Fortunately, the rain that fell in the Kanmon area this week did not cause any damage from the linear rain belt, and was no more than passing rain.

Just after such rain is over, we recommend taking a walk along the strait.

Rain can be a bit unpleasant, but even when it rained this time of year, it didn’t make me feel hot and humid, and on the contrary, it made me feel refreshing.

雨上がりの町に

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

今週関門エリアに降った雨は、幸い線状降水帯の被害もなく、通り雨の域を出ませんでした。

そんな雨の降った後は海峡沿いの散策がオススメです。

雨といえば、ちょっと嫌な感じもしますが、この時期の雨は降っても蒸し暑くはならず、かえって清々しく感じるほどでした。

Between sunny and rainy

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

Let us introduce one of the things it sometimes happen in this Kanmon area.

You can also see it from this guesthouse, but if you look at the Kanmon Strait from a high place,

you may see situations where it is sunny and raining at the same time.

In this image picture, the rain has shifted to the left (east) side and the sun is coming from the right (west) side.

When we gaze closely at it, we can’t help but feel the grandeur of nature.

(If this rain continues, it may become like the heavy rain that hit the Noto Peninsula the other day.)

晴れと雨との間には、、、

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

”関門海峡あるある”をひとつご紹介。

当宿からでも見えるのですが、関門海峡を高いところから眺めていると、、、

晴れているところと、雨が降っているところが同時に存在する状況が見えることがあります。

この画像の場合は、雨が左（東）側にシフトして、右（西）側から太陽がさしてきている状態です。

じっと見ていると、大自然の偉大さを感じずにはいられません。

（この雨が想定以上にずっと降り続くと、先日の能登半島の豪雨になるということですし）

それでは、自然を理解し、トラブルは早めに察知し、すみやかに回避して素敵な一日を！

Take pictures of the real thing!

Good morning to the World and Kanmon!

The hosts of this guesthouse is the kind of person who always discern the true meaning of decisions made by human being for human convenience, and who want to live a better life, even if it’s just for a little while, and he always want to share that with our guests.

So, the target for this time’s assessment is “Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon.”

As some of you may know, this year’s mid-autumn moon, the moon on September 17th, was not a full moon.

So, after watching the sunset, the host went out to admire the beautiful, perfectly round moon in a better setting, at almost 15.0 days old, or the 15th night.

To the spot we see every day from this guesthouse!

Blessed with the location, the host was able to take pictures of the town where we work and provide hospitality, as well as the round moon shining perfectly.

As always blessed with good luck, as the moon rose and just as the host finished shooting, it disappeared behind the clouds.

本物を撮る！

世界中に朝が、そして関門にもあさが来ました。 おはようございます。

当宿の宿主は、常に人間の都合で決められた事柄の真意を見極めて、少しであってもより素晴らしい日々を送りながら、それをゲストさんにもシェアしたいと考えている、そんな人間です。

で、今回の見極めの対象は「中秋の名月」。

ご存知の方もいらっしゃる思いますが、今年の中秋月、9月17日の月は満月ではありませんでした。

というわけで、日没を見とどけてから、ほぼ月齢15.0日つまり十五夜で真円のきれいな月を、より素敵な状況で愛でたいと出かけてきました。

当宿から毎日見ている場所に！

ロケーションにも恵まれて、自分が暮らしおもてなしを展開している町とまんまるに輝く月とを撮ることが出来ました。

いつもながらにツイていたのか、月が昇ってきて撮影を終えると同時に月は雲間に姿を消してしまいました。
